Hello Awais,
Great. So this warning is nothing to worry about correct?
Hello Awais,
Great. So this warning is nothing to worry about correct?
Hello Awais,
Thanks!
Hello Awais,
Yes, I will not make any changes like that so I will not need the child theme.
If I will make any small additions, I will add it via the Custom CSS tab in the theme (image you provided)
I will just keep the parent theme and not use the child theme.
Thanks for the clarification!
Have a great day ahead.
Sorry, also called “Additional CSS”
Also, does your theme have the custom CSS option in the appearance section?
I cannot see anything in regards to that.
In the other themes I have used, they provide that function.
Does this mean your theme does not provide that option for custom CSS to be added via that tab. So the child theme must be installed in this case?
Hello Awais,
Thanks for your reply.
To edit the section, do I need to have Elementor activated?
I currently don’t and it wont show me any images or a way to edit it.
Hello Awais,
Thanks for the details.
I personally wont be editing any code or anything of that nature.
My main purpose to get themes is to download them and make normal changes to them such as the logo, pages, products, header, footers and things like that. Nothing in terms of code or anything like that.
I may also use the Custom CSS tab found in the appearance section of the backend part of WordPress.
But nothing like editing the theme files or code.
In this case, do I need the child theme or can I delete that and just keep the parent theme?
Hello Awais,
Thanks for the information, I will look over this.
Hello Awais,
Thanks for your detailed answers!
I just had one more question, Do I really need the Child theme to be activated and what is the main reason for the child theme?
I personally don’t know anything about coding or in regards to making themes/changing code etc. So should I keep the child theme or just remove it overall and just keep the parent theme.
I have heard that child themes are for people who edit the code and make changes that way.
I personally will not be editing any sort of code.
I will just be making basic changes such as the the top menu, the footer section, the home page, adding products and more pages to the theme for my website. All done via Elementor and other plugins of that nature.
Thanks for your advice on this matter.
Hello Awais,
Thank you very much for your advice on this.
I will read the article and check how to use it.
Have a great day!
Hello Awais,
Thanks for your reply!
The warning had showed, but I clicked Next/Okay when importing the demo content for niche market 02.
The warning was; IMPORTANT, your system does not meet the server requirements. Are you sure you want to continue.
However now when the demo is imported, I go on the section which says “server requirements” and it does not show any error. The requirements are all showing green checkmarks beside them.
I am not sure what is correct or incorrect. I will attach the rows below.
Thanks for your help as I realize this part is important before making any changes to the website going forward.
