    Hello,

I was installing the theme and it gave me a warning for the Max execution time.

It said; Max execution time: min (120-180)
I then changed it to 180

    Then when I was importing the demo content and it goes to the system requirements page, it says;

Max execution time: min (120-180) 60(!)
Your system does not meet the requirements.

Not sure what this means because it was changed to 180 on the main menu page but when I import the demo it says warning with the number 60.

Thanks for any advice you can provide!

    Hello, @TFS,

Actually, it is the minimum value, and sometimes it does not work when the server is not fully compatible, so if it is not working for you then please increase it to 600 or 1000 and then try again.

And if the issue will still persists then please share your site WP Admin URL and Credentials and CPanel URL and Credentials in a private content area of this topic and let me know which demo you want to import and with which page builder, so that I’ll import that demo for you on your site.

    Regards 8Themes Team.

    Hello Awais,

    Thanks for your reply!

The warning had showed, but I clicked Next/Okay when importing the demo content for niche market 02.
The warning was; IMPORTANT, your system does not meet the server requirements. Are you sure you want to continue.

However now when the demo is imported, I go on the section which says “server requirements” and it does not show any error. The requirements are all showing green checkmarks beside them.

I am not sure what is correct or incorrect. I will attach the rows below.

Thanks for your help as I realize this part is important before making any changes to the website going forward.

    Environment Requirement System
    WP File System: direct direct
    PHP version: 7.4 7.4.30
    WordPress version: 5.8.2 6.0.2
    Memory limit: 128M 256M
Max execution time: min (120-180) 210
Max input vars: min (1000-2000) 2000
    Upload max filesize: 10M 64M
    ../Uploads folder: writable writable
    OpenSSL version: 1.0 1.1.1
    GZIP compression: enable enable
    file_get_contents( ): enable enable
    wp_remote_get( ): enable enable

    Hello, @TFS,

I see, I have checked your provided requirements and all looks fine, and if the demo is imported successfully and working fine, then no need to worry, you can go with it.

Also is there a specific number your company/theme recommends?
Also what does this number actually do in terms of the website/theme?

    My current numbers are;

Max execution time: min (120-180) – I have now put 400
Max input vars: min (1000-2000) – I have now put 300

    Hello, @TFS,

Yes, you can ignore that warning, it will not harm your site.

And you can read the theme minimum requirements here: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/60-xstore-theme-requirements

These numbers are actually the server numbers set on your site from the hosting, it will allow the space on your server to your site and also the time on your server to your site to run the query and perform successfully. The higher the number will be the better the performance.

Maximum execution time (max_execution_time) is a time limit on how long a PHP script can run.

The Max Input Var value represents how many variables for a single function your server can use to avoid overloads. Depending on your script or website, you may need to change this value.

Hope this is clear enough now.

    Hello Awais,

    Thank you for the details.

Do you however have a recommendation of a number to put?
Meaning does XSTORE have a number which makes the website run the best without any issue.

Or can I just put any number higher than the ones requested and I should be good to go?

Also does having a number which is to high cause any issues as well?

Thanks for your help on this as this is my first theme which requires these numbers.

    Hello, @TFS,

My suggested numbers are listed below:

Max execution time: min (120-180) – I have now put 400 (Put 1000)
Max input vars: min (1000-2000) – I have now put 300 (Put 2000)

By setting the above numbers you will not face any issues because of these values.

No the number which is too high does not cause any of the issues.

    Regards 8Themes Team.
