    Dear Rose,
    thanks for your answer!
    Now I’m a bit confused. I tought that the 8theme product slider uses the shop catalog image size, as I found this code in content-product-slider.php:
    $thumbnail_image = wp_get_attachment_image_src( get_post_thumbnail_id(), apply_filters( 'single_product_archive_thumbnail_size', 'shop_catalog' ) );

    I have set the thumbnail width in customizer to 420px so that works fine for my shoppage and also for the related products slider. But for my related color slider, I only need the images in 70x70px. As said, the 420px images are scaled down to 70px, so it all looks good, but its not the best solution for performance. Thats why I suggested the possibility to set a custom image size for each slider.

    You have this settings popup:
    http://www.bilder-upload.eu/show.php?file=4a4982-1525687411.jpg

    And it would be great for performance, if there was the possibility to chose a custom image size (e.g. the thumbnail size I set under media > settings), like here in single image settings:
    http://www.bilder-upload.eu/show.php?file=298ae5-1525687629.jpg

    Kind regards!

    Ah just one more general question: I saw that Royal theme is on sale for some weeks. Is this just a usual sale or does this mean that the theme will no longer be developed??

    On post pages. I have commented out the following code in etheme.js and that worked, but I dont know if thats a good way or if there is a better solution I could implement in my childtheme:

        // **********************************************************************//
        // ! Images lightbox
        // **********************************************************************//
        $("a[rel^='lightboxGall']").magnificPopup({
            type:'image',
            gallery:{
                enabled:true
            }
        });

        $('.images-popups-gallery').each(function() { // the containers for all your galleries
            $(this).magnificPopup({
                delegate: "a[data-rel^='gallery']", // the selector for gallery item
                type: 'image',
                gallery: {
                  enabled:true
                }
            });
        });

        $("a[rel='lightbox'], a[rel='pphoto']").magnificPopup({
            type:'image',
            closeBtnInside: true,
            preloader: false,
            midClick: true,
            removalDelay: 300,
            callbacks: {
                beforeOpen: function() {
                    this.st.mainClass = 'my-mfp-slide-bottom effect-delay2';
                }
            }
        });

    Hello,
    thanks but I still dont understand the reason. I changed all text strings (via child theme) back to woocommerce so that I dont have to translate everything again and I dont see any problems with functionality. I am using Loco translate and that works like a charm, so I need no help with translating, I just dont understand why the default text strings should affect the functionality?

    The favicon only works in Firefox. In Chrome I see your default R-Favicon. I cleared cache but it still doesnt work in Chrome.

    Thank you, the code brought back the description.
    But the problem with missing arrow buttons is still there.

    I just noticed that there seem to be general problems with owl slider. On small devices, the navigation-arrows are not shown. Ive added a video in private content. When I then switch from small device to desktop size, the arrows are back but the pictures that where hidden are not shown. That happens in product gallery, as well in related product slider, so I guess there is a bug in owl slider. Maybe fixing this bug will help me fixing the short description issue too. Could you please help me with that?
    Many thanks in advance

    Sure, thats what I did. But the code is not working anymore, it outputs nothing. It works in content-product.php, but not in content-product-slider.php. Thats why I was hoping that you can tell me which code to add to output the short description..

    Yes thank you its all working fine now. The only thing thats a bit disturbing is that the images “jump” on single product page – Ive added a video in private content.

    Did you make any new changes? Because I saw that the files content-product and content.product-slider were edited this morning and now it works and all images have the right size….?

    Hm ok i am on the way to my office and will check it there. Also there seems to be a new image size with 250px (shop catalogue). I checked all settings (in settibgs > media) and in customizer but I dont find where to change it?

    Ok, unfortunately its still not working perfectly. The swap images have other dimensions than the main images, although they are both 1000x1000px. The main product image is shown square, and the swap image as cropped to a rectangle… 🙁
    Many thanks for your support.

    Thank you. Can you please fix it for content-product-slider.php too?
    And will this be fixed in the next update? The perfect solution would be if it was like it was before: Show the swap image if there is one, and if there is none, just do nothing and keep the main product image.
    Thank you.

    Just wanted to admit that the hover (swap) images have not only disappeared from shop page, but also from the etheme (related products) slider…

    Ok, hoping that the update will fix this. Downgrading is not that easy because the new woocommerce version made database changes. But I could use a backup..

    Hello, I just updated to woocommerce version 3.3.1 and now my shop shows 4 columns although I have set it to 3 columns in the 8theme settings. Is this a bug and will the next update fix this? Thank you.

    I’ve got a general question about this: Should I always wait for a theme update before updating woocommerce?

    Solved it. By default, woocommerce doesnt change the price to the correct price, its always 25-39 Euro. But I am using a plugin that does the trick. I just had to remove

    <div class="product-arrows pull-right">
    <?php previous_post_link_product(); ?>
    <?php next_post_link_product(); ?>
    </div>

    from content-single-product.php in order to make it work. Guess it’s related to the position of this function…

    Thanks but isnt it possible to tell me how to change the code? I would like to be able to reproduce it. Thank you.
