I’ve select “Native WooCommerce product editing screen” in Settings http://prntscr.com/ebj7pt and created new “test” product. It is working fine now. Please, check.
As about products what you have already, you need to go to edit product and re-write link to the image for hover effect where it needs. I’ve done it for this one http://prntscr.com/ebjaau

1c. Please, update the theme to the latest version 2.9.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

1d. I’ve copied etheme_share_shortcode function to your function.php file in child theme and now you can change position of blocks http://prntscr.com/ebghka in this file

To change the size of product images go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Product Image Sizes. Don’t forget to install Regenerate thumbnails plugin and Regenerate thumbnails after that.
