I had this issue, it was something to do with .navbar left or right CSS
it was only a 5px difference either way, I’ll see if I can find the thread.

Can I ask why that is Robert?
And is there anyway of making it better for the IE browser or disabling add to cart ajax for IE only?
It is ok guys, worked out that I could change the excerpt word length through blog settings in the theme options.
Marks as resolved please.
Thank you, please mark as resolved.
Thanks Robert, increased the height and that is better now although most probably better if I use different heights for media queries.
Please mark as resolved.
Thanks will try that and get back to you
That is strange Rob, funny how W3 Total Cache worked?
I did not change any settings on WP Super Cache so that is strange as well.
thanks will try that.
if I wanted to create more color in the header can I just add padding to top and bottom?
Thanks Queenb123
I will try and add that, out of interest what WOOTHEME variant do you use?
I’m using full width so unsure if the code will be the same.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Hey Queenb123,
Out of curiosity how did add the colour to the mobile navigation header background?
Looks good, better than being white.
If you could advise that would be great!
Please close Eva
Please mark as resolved, thank you!
Please mark as resolved, this has now been resolved by email.
Thank you!
No longer needed, please mark as resolved.
Thanks!
Any help on this then please or this is going to drag on for another day with no resolution?
Does not really help with actual files.
I have created FTP access allowing access to wp-content and theme folder
If you need me to do anything via WP Admin I will do this.
Robert I can give you certain FTP access by I am not willing to allow full access to the WP admin area as I have confidential client details which I can not allow access to.
wootheme 2.8 version worked fine, you then updated to 2.9 and 2.9.1 and it breaks the responsive functionality on mobile, before the pages would not move from left to right causing white space but now they do?
Please get Olga or a manager to contact me on here or by email (in private) to resolve this.
I will leave 2.9.1 theme version up for a little longer, then I will have to YET AGAIN go back to 2.8 theme version, but this time I will be looking for a better theme provider who can offer better support and can code correctly.
I have sent an email ” Contact the Manager
Rose,
you are giving me codes that do not fix this issue, you have to means test the code before you give them out which you are obviously not doing! have been on to my website using a mobile phone in portrait mode and attempted to move your finger left and right over the content areas I have mentioned? seems not.
on wootheme 2.8 the content did not move, it was fixed … but since updates 2.9 and 2.9.1 the content moves? what do you not understand about that?
THE CODES DO NOT WORK
Please escalate this to a manager, I have sent an email requesting help from a manager.
Robert,
seems to be WP Super Cache as W£ Total Cache is working ok.
Could you please help with my issue with latest 2.9.1 theme update causing white space on mobile phone in portrait mode?
my other topic that is open.
Rose,
please escalate this to a manager as you do not understand, I have requested contact from a manager (Olga)
As I have already said, the website in Portrait mode on Mobile when you move your finger left to right it moves creating a band of white space!
it did not do this on wootheme 2.8 so you guys have changed something within the code to change the responsive design.
I include a picture, also if you move your finger on the footer it moves and shows a band of white space, YOU HAVE TO USE A MOBILE PHONE ELSE YOU WILL NOT SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING!

What files did you change from 2.8 to 2.9 that might change how the page moves from left to right?
Woopress 2.8 works fine??
Hi,
has this something to do with the issue?
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/25099517/disable-touch-panning-for-body-of-site-on-mobile-devices
I really need this sorting out, I have contact the Manager so hopefully they will get back?
It gets frustrating to have to go back to version 2.8 all the time.
Rose,
Your solution does nothing to fix this issues and that’s not the cause.
No reply?
Should I contact the manager Olga to request help?
Still waiting for a resolution guys?? No reply?
Deleted WP SUPERCACHE and now using W3 Total Cache.
Seems quicker than WP SUPERCACHE and problem solved.
I would make your customers aware of this issue with your theme as reading online I noticed people saying it would act differently with different themes.
Just need to sort issue with woo theme 2.9.1 causing an issue on mobile in portrait mode.
I have updated the theme and still you have not resolved the issue of it moving side to side on mobile (iPhone) causes a gap on the right side which looks bad! ONLY IN PORTRAIT MODE!!!!
You have still not resolved this even though you have updated to 2.9.1 ??
Please check on mobile (Website in private)
If you can’t resolve this I need to communicate with Olga as this issue has been ongoing for a long time.
Ok, I have updated the theme to the latest update and still get the issue of white pages on IE browser!
I have deactivated plugins and when I get to “WP SUPERCACHE” bingo! white pages happen on IE browser in mod rewrite mode and PHP mode.
Unsure why WP SUPERCACHE is not playing ball with the theme guys and only using IE ?
Looks like I will have to try another cache plugin.
