I turned off xstore customizer and used the prebuilt header and edited to move stuff around.
It worked fine then I keep not getting the carousel on the top menu to change and redid it many times.
Went to customize to make sure it is turned off.
I exported the header and eleted thinking maybe that was a problem and home page still takes along time or not all at in wordpress to edit.
Reinstalled the header it shows up on live view of home page. but does not open to edit with elementor.

I would like to use the customizer, but it is too confusing on how to create my custom header.
    Thanks

I created a new user as a dmin for you to take a look.

I picked this theme for the woo store stuff and I wanted to use a mega menu, I tried many hours trying to get the simple layout I wanted and gave up. I bought the ubermenu, but that started to get too complicated to get the layout.

I tried the advance menu with elementor pro and since I am familiar with how it works I started getting better results.

the original header is #1903 and the next one i just tried to delete the 1903 and recreate a new header which seems to be working better but still takes a while to load the edit pages.
    Thanks

I had to reset the password for some reason and now you can log on to look at wordpress.

I go to pages and choose home and edit with elementor.

the page will have line go across the top and after a while having a blank white screen the home page will load correctly and over at the left column with widgets there is a small black spinning circle that takes another minute or more to finish.

the live home page loads correctly.

if i go to xstore builder and then select headers, it loads the 2 headers I am using. the original header is 1903 and if i click the edit button it goes to a white screen with big E in the middle, the loading line on top of browser page moves from left to right and it is loading the page……. I let it try for a long time and then get a safe mode button down in right corner.

that is where I am at…..I can not edit the header 1903

if I choose to edit the other header3162 it does open and I can edit it and i used this to replace the original header in the live site.

I want to use my original header 1903 because I started the maga menu layout.

I don’t know how to do a video

The last thing I was doing was trying to add more carousel widget items and scrolling texts to the top line of header 1903…..it was not working right and I tried to publish many times, cleared cache….went to xstore customizer and turned off…..

Thanks for any help to solve this problem

If I open home page it loads part of the page and still have black spinning circle over the widgets area.

the header is missing menu and there is a big gap from header to content

the header is green overlay and if I click on content area it says I should save before going to a separate site part

If I open header 1903 it now does load, but missing the menu.

I made header 1903 excluded from entire site so that the other header should be the only one visible.

now the second header has now menu all the work I just did to create dropdown boxes is gone?

it seems things are worse than when I had you try to fix the site.

I checked the elementor features and menu and container and nestled were inactive…..after making them active the home page only loads half and then just spinning circle….the header still has no menu

I am ready to dump this xstore get my money back and work with something else that has no conflicts with elementor……….days wasted

    Hello @artofboomerang.com

We hope this message finds you well.

Upon reviewing the issue, we noticed that the error displayed in the browser console originates from the PRO Elements plugin, as shown in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/EHypwO6WYQGD. This suggests that there may be an incorrect structure or a broken widget within the plugin.

To further verify this, you may try deactivating the XStore Core plugin and the XStore theme, and then check the Elementor header editor again. If the same console errors persist, it confirms that the issue is not related to our theme.

As a recommended solution, we suggest creating a new header template. For optimal performance and ease of use, we advise utilizing our built-in functionality for Mega Menu templates. You can refer to our video tutorial here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/video-tutotials/03-how-to-create-a-mega-menu/. These templates can be easily imported into your website using the XStudio feature of the XStore theme: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-features/xstudio-feature-of-xstore-wordpress-theme/.

This method does not rely on additional scripts for creation, making it easier to modify and less likely to cause performance issues or loading delays in the header editor.

Additionally, the empty space appearing below your header was caused by an empty container with a minimum height of 1109px, as shown here: https://prnt.sc/Xd8vUrIzHRa_. We have removed this container, and you may now check your website to confirm the changes.

Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

I just logged in and slow loading pages.

I tried using the mega menu option with xstore and it was a nightmare to get the layout I wanted and you videos are too short and don’t help.

I bought ubermenu to help create a mega menu and they have so many videos to go through step by step, but ran into a problem with trying to get a larger dropdown box and just got frustrated….I wasted so much time with sxstore

I got xstore have more woo shopping options but it is not worth the wasted time I going to cancel xstore and start with a basic theme and use elementor and maybe use store customizer to customize my store.
When I looked at all the themes I thought xstore would do the trick,

I wasted too much time and have nothing to show for it and you want me to keep using xstore because it is all built into the design,

but I can not get what I want from the mega menu and if it conflicts with elementor , then it just adds more frustration,

you may a good product, but I don’t have the time to keep playing with it and what will happen next……I had a elementor mega menu and now I don’t , where is it?

    Thanks for trying to help.

This is 2 weeks plus of dealing thinking if I spend a little extra money I can get something that solves my problem.

I am going to delete xstore and reset my wordpress and start with a basic theme and go from there with just elementor. then cancel xstore to get refund………………

Too add to last message, I may be cutting my throat by starting over and xstore might have some great stuff I would like but I have not got past first base with just a few simple things like a header and the dropdown menu………

I have never had this many problems with the websites I have build, I am not an expert, your simple instructions and videos do not show how to do things with details, please look at the 13 year old video’s ubermenu created…..

the guy does a perfect job of explaining every detail so you understand and learned about the product.

    Hello @artofboomerang.com,

Thank you very much for sharing your ideas with us. We sincerely appreciate your input and will certainly take your suggestions into consideration as we continue developing new videos to highlight our features.

You may find numerous tutorials and videos online demonstrating how to work with the Elementor page builder. The mega menu content is created in the same way as any other page or post using Elementor, making it easy to customize and manage.

Should you have any further questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

You do not read what I wrote you keep saying just watch a video and it explains everything…..

You could not fix my website and made it worse.

I just reset everything and tried to get back to what I had before, but I keep running into the same problem you say I do editing with elementor, but if i try to to do something with your customizer then it causes problems.

    Hello @artofboomerang.com,

We hope this message finds you well.

Could you please clarify the issues you are experiencing after modifying the Customizer options? If possible, we kindly ask you to provide a video demonstrating the problem, as this will help us better understand and address the issue.

We recommended using our built-in functionality for creating mega menus. This feature allows you to incorporate any content or widgets available in the Elementor widget list. The process of building mega menu content is similar to creating posts or pages, and we believe it is quite user-friendly.

Additionally, within the Mega Menu widget of the header template, you have the option to set a custom or stretched width for the dropdown items, allowing you to tailor the layout to your specific needs.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
