    Hello, @razvangt,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

1/ Ensure that your web hosting environment meets the minimum requirements for the XStore theme. Please set your PHP version to 8.0. Check the image for specific requirements here: https://imgur.com/wKn5z6x

And then the XStore core plugin should be updated first, then the XStore theme. Check our theme documentation Xstore Theme update here: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/63-theme-update
    https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/37-plugins-update

2/ We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins), clearing the cache of the browser, and then checking again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.

If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization. This will allow us to investigate and assist you accordingly.

Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

In addition, please provide your site’s WP Admin URL and credentials in the private content area of this topic, so that we can look into it further:

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Hello,

    1. PHP version and the specific requirements are ok. Unfortunately I updated XStore theme first. Then the XStore core.

    2. I disabled all the extra plugins and the problem still persisted. I made the back-up.

You have the data in the private are. If you need anything else, please let me know.

    Thank you,
    Razvan

    Hello, @razvangt,

Upon reviewing the configuration of your website, we have observed that an outdated version of the theme, along with a child theme, is currently in use. Additionally, the most recent version of the theme has been installed but not activated.

It is important to note that if the older version of the parent theme—which has been renamed—is removed, the associated child theme will cease to function, as it remains linked to the outdated parent theme. Consequently, the newly installed parent theme is not influencing your website’s operation, leading to compatibility issues with the core plugin.

To address this matter, we advise you to take the following steps:

    1. Remove the outdated version of the parent theme.
    2. Delete the child theme.
    3. Install the latest core plugin on your website.
    4. Activate the most recent version of the parent theme.

We are confident that these actions will rectify the issue at hand.

You can obtain the latest versions of the theme and plugin via the following link: https://www.8theme.com/downloads

Please ensure that you update them manually on your website by adhering to our provided instructions.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best Regards,
    The 8Theme Team
