    Hello again,

    The following ticket has just been closed: https://www.8theme.com/topic/no-visible-widget-area/.

    I was however somewhat too quick to give a cheerful answer. “The issue has been resolved” for sure but he/she just disabled the translation for the theme…

    Obviously I would like the theme to be translated, that’s what WPML is for ofcourse. So now I’m stuck again with the same issue. I think I can work around the widgets by disabling as he/she did > add the widgets > enable it again > translate the widgets. But that would be less than ideal.

    See above image (first reply):
    Option 1 is currently selected on the site. This ensures that the theme and plug-ins will be translatable. However when this option is selected I can’t see my widget area anymore (back-end).
    When Option 2 is selected I can see the widget area but the theme isn’t translated anymore, as suggested the option will do.

    Yes the site is translated, but I can’t see the widgets when that option is selected or WPML is deactivated.
