    Hello,

I updateted to Woocommerce 2.5 and the status showed a lot of outdated templates. Unfortunately I overwrote them manually with according ones from Woocommerce… After that the shop shows a very uggly layaout without photos and VC shows no added block on the shop page.
1)Is the cause that I overwrote the templates in the according /themes/woopress/woocommerce/templates map?
2)When is a theme version coming out with the good woocommerce templates?
3)Can I in the mean time repair and bring the old templates back and do that for all or just a specific one?
4)Or do I also need to install the previous version of Woocommerce back because the mismatch of old templates has also different other breakdowns?

    Best regards,

    Team Borijn

    Hello,

In the mean time I changed these two blue marked templates back in the theme/woocommerce folder
    http://prntscr.com/9s4vez
If you did not backup them you can get them from the downloaded 2.7.2 them package.
I don’t know if both files are nessecary or if other problems will come up but the shop looks as it was before the update.
Waiting for feedback from 8theme, I hope this helps you.

    Best regards,

    Team Borijn

    Hello @Team Borijn,

You mustn’t reupload files in wp-content/themes/woopress/woocommerce directory with original Woocommerce plugin files because we edited them to style Woocommerce templates according to the theme.
We recommend to use old Woocommerce version until we release theme update.
It will be produced approximately in a week.

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

Woopress 2.8 resolved tis issue but now Woocommerce 2.5.2 is out and I installed it, the same issue occurs again. Many outdated templates is stated by the woocommerce status page.
    1) Is this a problem and should I allways wait until the new theme version is ready?
    2) in your youtube videos a stated that allways delete the /plugins/woopress/woocommerce before updating the theme. In that way I allways lose the copied woocommerce templates within that folder so I have to recopy them via woocommerce settings and optionally change them to my whishes. Is there a procedure to prevent that?

    Best regards,

    Hello,

    1. You shouldn’t worry about those notices. They won’t affect your site at all. We edited Woocommerce files in wp-content/themes/woopress/woocommerce directory and old version may be written in those files. But, please don’t worry, as the original version is written in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates directory.
So you can hide this message or you can fix it by editing the files in wp-content/themes/woopress/woocommerce directory and change the version to the current Woocommerce version that you’re using.

    2. You should delete themes/woopress/woocommerce folder as the developers may delete some files in the theme update and if you just overwrite the woocommerce folder those files will be kept in your account. If you make changes in the files we recommend to make them in child theme and you won’t lose your modifications after update.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
