Hi I am having trouble sorting out my shop and categories I have made a shop page but can not get my categories and sub categories to link up. I am making a jewelry shop and this is what i want to do

{ Rings }
Ex sample Silver jewelry – { Earings}
{ Necklaces }

{ Long Necklaces }
Fashion Jewelry – { Short necklaces }
{ Bracelets }
Can some one point me into the right direction Please

Hello,

Do you want to create subcategories as subitems in the menu?
Please clarify your request with more details. It would be better if you provide us with some screenshots and wp-admin access to your site.

What i want to do is have my main categories and off each main categories have its subcategories. so its like a tree with branches off it hope that explains things better

login and pass gone to your private

lol my skills are limited I can not see way to put a screen shot on this forum sorry.

what I want is to click on my shop button which takes you to my categories from my categories to my subcategories

if you know a better way tell me 🙂
I want my customers to be able to navigate there way to want ever they want to look at easy
shop then silver jewelry then rings
hope this explains a bit better lol

If you want to display categories and subcategories directly on shop page go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Shop Page Display > Show Subcategories & Default Category Display > Show Subcategories

Eva if you dont want to help why you doing this job you are just giving me the run around i sent you 4 screen prints, as normal you dont solve a thing sorry if sound a bit blunt but i just read a few other peoples problems and they all get the same sort of answer I have done my best to explain everything to you I dont think you even look

In the previous post you were provided with the instruction how to add subitems to the menu and how to display subcategories on the Shop page:

If you want to add product categories as subitems into menu read here how to do it.
If you want to display categories and subcategories directly on shop page go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Shop Page Display > Show Subcategories & Default Category Display > Show Subcategories

Please take our apologies but it’s difficult for us to understand what exactly you want to do.
So if you want to have the categories to be displayed as subitems in the menu you should follow this instruction: https://www.8theme.com/knowladge-base/how-to-include-product-category-into-menu/
