    Hi 8Theme Team,

We just updated to WooCommerce 3.0 but are getting a blank white screen.

Is Legenda 3.1 compatible with WooCommerce 3.0?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Please don’t update Woocommerce to 3.0. Compatibility of our theme with the plugin will be added in a new theme update.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Hello Rose,

What is the planning for the theme update to be compatible with woocommerce 3.0?

    Best regards,

    George

    Hello,

The next theme update should be in 1-2 weeks.
Don’t update WC plugin before theme update. If you have already done this, please, downgrade WC plugin version or wait for the next theme update.
Also, before update any plugin you need to be sure that theme and other plugins that you use are compatible with the new version.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

Hi Rose – thanks so much for the update.

Question: Is there any way Legenda could keep up-to-date with WooCommerce releases in the future?

I know the WooCommerce 3.0 has been in development since August and had 4 beta versions since December (4 months ago) along with 3 Release Candidates in March with an upgrade date of April 4th.

Question: Does the 8Theme team wait for the actual release to test compatibility?

I ask because I am aware of the challenges in theme compatibility but also mindful of other theme developers who worked with the release candidates to introduce WooCommerce 3.0 compatibility before the release came out.

Also, with WooCommerce 3.0 running a content update, is it even possible to “downgrade” or rollback to WooCommerce 2.6.14 without restoring from a backup?

Thanks for any replies you can give, and thanks, of course, for Legenda, XStore, etc.! 🙂

    Hello,

Sorry for some delay in answering.
We did not wait to the actual release and were working to update the theme.
The last release candidate of woocommerce did not include all changes as a final version. So we need more time to prepare all of our themes to update.
DB was updated by woocommerce, so you can’t correct downgrade version without using backup.
The legend theme will be updated on this week.
    Thank you for understanding.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

Hi Rose – thank you, again, for your kind and quick replies to our thread 2 weeks ago! I am also a license holder for Xstore, so I really appreciated the immediately update to Xstore for WooCommerce 3.0 compatability, etc.

    Any news on Legenda?

    Thanks for writing when able!

Any news on when the new update will be released? My customers are unable to complete the checkout process right now, and I would love to be back up and running at full capacity as soon as possible. I really like Legenda, but this delay in releasing a compatible version is making me consider switching themes. Will the update be released in the next day or so?

Three weeks is an unacceptable delay, causing us business losses.

    Hello @lkendrick22, @Ann Sanicola,

We are really sorry for inconveniences caused by theme update delay, as it’s due to large amount of work. Our developer team are testing new theme version now and then will forward it to ThemeForest for approvement, so we hope it’ll be ready today for download.
    Thank you for understanding.

    Regards,
    Jack Richardson.

I’ve just downloaded the legenda theme from themeforest again but I think it’s still version 3.1 rather than the newest version 3.2. Please let me know where I can downloaded the most updated Legenda theme. I accidentally upgraded my woocommerce and website data and my website hasn’t been functioning properly, I am still waiting for the Legenda theme that’s compatible with my updated woocommerce.

    Thanks,
    Sophie

    Hello, @sophie,

I’ve sent the new theme version to your registration emails.
So, you’ll be able to update theme to version that is compatible with WC 3.0.4.
You need to enter your purchase code to activate our new theme version and skip Setup Wizard.
Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
I would recommend you before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/royal/ to avoid problems with old files.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

    Hi,

I’ve just uploaded Legenda 3.2 to my FTP and my website is looking very strange with photos all over the place. I realised we upgraded woocommerce from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 which maybe the problem? Could you please let me know how I can roll back woocommerce to 3.0.4? I’ve included my SFPT login in the private content below.

    Thanks,
    Sophie

    Hello, @sophie,

Please provide a screenshot of the problem.
Try to disable 3-rd party plugins (means the plugins that are not included in the theme package are not in the list of required plugins) and check your issues.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.

I’ve included links to a couple of screenshots in private content below.

Do you think it has something to do with my website running woocommerce 3.0.5?

    Hello, @sophie,

Unfortunately, I can’t open your screenshots, try to use Lightshot program:
    http://app.prntscr.com/en/download.html
Go to this page https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce/advanced/, scroll to the bottom where it says previous versions, download 3.0.4 to you PC and FTP to your web / plugins folder.
Also, disable 3-rd party plugins and let me know the result.

    Regards,
    Rose Tyler.
