Why are out of stock attributes not greyed out or crossed out

“Out of Stock” design
Choose the design of the swatches which are out of stock to be displayed on the product archive pages.

I tried all 3 options and nothing changes. There is no difference shown in any of the

From what we can see in the admin panel, neither the theme version nor its author or any other information is displayed. This leads us to conclude that custom changes have been made to the theme. We kindly ask you to revert these changes. Ideally, please create a backup and reinstall the official theme and core plugin.
