Where are other demo pages ? - by foongpon

Please tell me where do I download other pages like contact pages, FAQ and other custom pages. I downloaded the base demo and the demo theme.

Yes, I did. I went “install demo base content” and then went install “transport” theme.
I have only one page called “Transport”.

Hello, @foongpon,

Your WP could not import the base demo content, very likely due to its heaviness. You can try manual import using this file. Or provide admin panel and FTP accesses and we’ll do it for you!

You’ve been provided with the link of the demo content archive which you need import manually – https://www.8theme.com/import/dummy-royal.zip
Have you tried to import it?

I dont seem to be able to import. I tried install the xml file but still no additional posts or pages.

I have included my wordpress admin and ftp access below.

After 2nd look, I think one of your support member just add a few pages and few posts manually to wordpress account. You didnt actually install all the files from your demo. Disappointing….

Hello,

We have included following pages in demo content: Home page, Blog, Contact Us, Portfolio, FAQ. Also there are posts, projects, products, testimonials, essential grid simple data. We do not include too much dummy data, because some customers’ installations due to WP settings or server capacity are not able to import even this content. Also some features such as mega menu, static blocks, custom widget areas are described in documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/index.html and you can create them in no time. If it’s difficult for you, please, specify the exact pages you want to add to your site and we’ll help you to create them.

Do you have problems with demo content import? Does your server meet the requirements of Royal theme (1.3 item) https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/index.html#!/installation_upgrade
If yes and you still have a problem, provide admin panel and FTP access, please.

Kindly advise me how can i get all the demo pages (top Navigational Pages :: Blog, Shop, Shortcodes, Portfolio, More alongwith their sub navigation pages / layouts and short codes ::) as per demo “https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/”. I would like to choose many of them for my different pages on website. I have installed the theme and the base dummy data provided along with, But it doesn’t seems to me all the pages installed/imported. Can you please help me to install all the pages so i can choose the layouts. Early help will be appreciated.

Our demo content has basic pages- Shop, Home, Portfolio, Contact, Blog. Other pages are created only for our demo site.

Hello @Melvin,

Please check what php version is used on a server at your hosting provider. It shouldn’t be less than 5.3 version. Also ask them to increase upload_max_filesize, post_max_size and memory_limit functions and allow_url_fopen function is also must be enabled.
