Updated the Xstore theme to the newest version and the header and footer broke.

Hello, @sk,

It seems that the update is not done successfully on your site. Would you please revert the backup by contacting your service provider and then try to update the theme again by following the theme update steps, https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/63-theme-update

This is what I was told from the service provider after 5 hours of back and forth and after multiple attempts to restore. We’re able to restore and backup but with the same results….a broken website.

From the service provider:

This issue is directly associated with your header theme provider, and we are trying to help you out.

We specialize in hosting-related issues, therefore, our knowledge about your specific issue may be very limited.

1. Websites’ chrome console doesn’t indicate any errors that we could work with.
2. Restoration of files doesn’t impact the header.
3. Restoration of the database doesn’t impact the header.
4. The website isn’t cached (All caches were cleared from my side, and checked it via URL)

At this point, the best suggestion may provide an original author of the header, and how to deal with such an issue.

Tony I already tried multiple times what’s in the instructions given in the link you provided after each attempt to restore and backup.
