Well, Recently Woocomerce updated and all hell got lose.

    1. Suddenly, categories started showing on the shop page.
    2. Tried to change some options, firstly categories were showing in the sidebar as well, from theme tried to remove them and turn them on again. I am not able to re-enable sidebar.
    3. These problems seem to be because of WC not updated in the theme. Can you tell me how to update the files automatically in the theme? or i will have to do it manually?

Tried manually – copied archive product /home3/xxc/public_html/wp-content/themes/royal/woocommerce/archive-product.php

from woocommerce plugin to this folder and i fear i dont do something wrong and changed it back to what it was.

PS i already have the backup.

    Hello,

WooCommerce 3.3 has some major issues – just check the plugin page, so much so that it isn’t available anymore at this time. You need to downgrade woocommerce to 3.2.6 version.
As with all major revision WooCommerce updates, we advise waiting on a theme update until updating.
Note that before update any plugin you need to be sure that theme and other plugins that you use are compatible with the new version.

    Regards

how do you recommend i downgrade?

These woocommerce guys are SO irresponsible – First they spit by releasing 1 version and then start licking for next 3-4 versions!

    Hello,

Please do not use WC 3.3.1 version, because the theme version 3.4 is not compatible with this latest woocommerce version. Looks like you replace woocommerce files in our theme folder so now you have such result on site.
Please provide us with FTP and admin panel access to your site, so we could upload 3.2.6 WC version and correct theme files.
Once new theme version will be released you will be able to update theme and WC.

    Hello,

Please check Theme Options > Products Page Layout > Layout and make sure that sidebar is enabled.
Go to Appearance > Customize and click on the ‘Site Identity’ tab and upload site icon.

    Hello,

    1. Do you use a child theme?
    2. With parent theme activated on site do you have the same problem?
    3. Did you delete, before theme update, “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/royal/ to avoid problems with old files?
    4. To be able to check the problem deeply, we need temporary wp-admin and FTP access.

    Hello,

Please, provide us with Dashboard and FTP access to your site (cPanel – it’s the different thing, we don’t need cPanel) and we’ll help you with sidebar problem.

    Hello,

I have asked you to provide me login credentials for the WP Dashboard and FTP access. Instead of this, you have provided cPanel access again. Please, create temporary WP user with admin permissions and provide me login and pass to this user. If you don’t know what is FTP contact your hosting provider and ask to send you FTP host, FTP login and password.

You don’t need to install WP from scratch. You just need to provide me required information!

    Regards

    Hello, @shiningeyes

Can you provide me correct FTP and Dashboard access at the same time? We can’t help you if you send us only one of this. Waiting for your reply. We want to solve this problem ASAP and close the ticket because it takes too long time.

    Regards
