Hello,
I tried updating my site to the latest version of Visual Composer(4.5.1), but when I did all content created with the previous version of the plugin was no longer visible. And, when I reverted to the version I had before, everything was working fine once again.
Please note, I have already contacted the plugin author and was instructed to contact you.

Please confirm you have back up of your files and database.
Also provide us with wp-admin panel and FTP credentials.
