Topic: Visual composer stuck in loading – no pages modify possible

Hi,

We have installed royal theme with intimitystore style. We can’t modify pages with visual composer has it is loading without ending and does not display the visual composer’s interface.

You’ll find credentials on the private part if you need to see by yourself. If I have to do something on files/database ask me I’ll do the job.

Hello,

You need to update Visual Composer plugin to the latest version https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ as there was incompatibility issue with WordPress 4.5 and old VC plugin version.

OK Thanks. Everything goes fine now. I have another question; we have installed the website on a subdomain as the old one is own by the current shop (prestashop).

I’m used to change URL by database queries:

UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = replace(option_value, 'http://subdomain.oldurl.org/', 'http://www.newurl.org/') WHERE option_name = 'home' OR option_name = 'siteurl'; UPDATE wp_posts SET guid = replace(guid, 'http://subdomain.oldurl.org/','http://www.newurl.org/');

Does it will do the job with the this theme, plugins and woocommerce or do you now another proper way ?

I like to download newest version of the Visual Composer plugin, but it fails to download.
I already tested if other downloads are failing too, but that is not true, can you help me?
