    Dear 8Theme Support Team,

    We are writing to express our deep concern regarding the performance and resource usage of the XStore theme (classic demo) recently purchased for our website, (private).

    Performance Issues:
    A Google PageSpeed Insights test revealed a very slow loading time of 11 seconds, resulting in a low overall performance score of 26.
    This is significantly impacting our website’s user experience and SEO.

    Excessive Inode Usage:
    Our hosting provider informed us that the XStore theme, with the classic demo installed, is consuming a staggering 18,500 inodes.
    This is a very large number for a single website, especially considering we haven’t uploaded any additional images or files besides our logo.

    Request for Resolution:
    We kindly request your urgent assistance in optimizing the XStore theme for improved website speed.
    We need to achieve a significantly faster loading time and a better overall performance score on Google PageSpeed Insights.
    Additionally, we would appreciate guidance on how to reduce the theme’s inode usage to a more manageable level.

    Refund Policy Inquiry:
    In the unfortunate case that the performance and resource usage issues cannot be satisfactorily resolved, we would like to inquire about your refund policy.
    We would appreciate a clear explanation of the steps necessary to request a refund if the theme’s performance remains unsatisfactory.

    Theme Complexity:
    We are genuinely curious to understand why the XStore theme requires such a large number of files (18,500+) for a basic demo installation.
    Knowing the purpose of these files would help us make informed decisions about future theme usage.

    We are committed to using the XStore theme for our website, but the current performance and resource usage issues are critical roadblocks. We are confident that, by working together, we can find a solution.

    We look forward to your prompt response and a collaborative approach to resolving these problems.

    Thanks,

    Every additional plugin slows down the site a bit, so we would recommend you disable unrequired plugins.

    Dear 8Themes Support,

    We’re experiencing an issue with global color customization in the XStore theme (Glasses demo) on our development domain.

    Color Change Issue:
    We’ve attempted to change the main color globally through the theme customizer > Styling/Colors > Main Color option. However, the changes aren’t reflected on the website after publishing and clearing cache.
    This necessitates manually editing individual sections, which is time-consuming.
    Could you please advise on the proper method for globally changing the main color across the entire website?

    License Deactivation Inquiry:
    We’re planning to migrate our website (.x_hidden) to a new hosting plan. Deactivating the theme license is a necessary step during the migration.
    Would deactivating the license violate your terms & policies?
    If not, what’s the recommended approach for deactivating the license during a hosting migration and reactivating it on the new host?
    Thank you for your prompt assistance.

    Thanks

    Dear 8Themes Support Team,

    We recently installed the Furniture demo on our website. However, upon completion, we encountered an issue where the header content failed to load entirely.

    Technical Details:
    The header section remains completely absent after demo installation.
    We attempted to manually integrate the header from the Furniture demo into our website.
    Unfortunately, the pre-made header templates within the theme customizer only offer 11 options, and the specific header design used in the Furniture demo is not included.

    Clarification Needed:
    Is it intended that users who install the Furniture demo and require its specific header design cannot access it through the pre-made header templates?
    If this is the case, it creates a usability concern, as users may expect to readily utilize the header showcased in the chosen demo.

    Possible Solutions:
    We kindly request clarification on the intended functionality regarding demo header accessibility.
    If the specific Furniture demo header is unavailable as a pre-made template, please advise on the most efficient method to implement it on our website.
    Thank you for your prompt attention to this technical inquiry.

    Thanks,

    Dear 8Themes Support Team,

    We’re using the Glasses demo on our website and would like to add a “Buy Now” button alongside the existing “Add to Cart” button on the single product page.

    While other XStore demos offer this functionality, we haven’t been able to locate the option within the Glasses demo settings.

    Given the positive impact of “Buy Now” buttons on conversion rates, we’d appreciate guidance on the most efficient method to implement this feature on our single product pages within the Glasses demo.

    Global Color Customization:

    We’d like to globally change the colors throughout the Glasses demo to match our own color scheme. We’ve attempted using the theme customizer > Styling/Colors > Main Color option, but the changes aren’t reflected consistently across the entire website, requiring manual editing of individual sections.
    Could you please advise on the proper method for globally applying our desired color scheme throughout the Glasses demo?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    I provided you with the login details in a private message. Please fix the issues I have already mentioned in my previous response.

    PS:
    Change global colour of the website from the demo colour to our brand colour (#565051), as I have tried changing the colour from theme customisation > styling/colors > main color

    But it is not applied to website anywhere.

    2- make buy now button visible at single product page along with add to card.

    Also on cart page.

    Thanks

    Hello, @Irtaza,

    Thank you for your response.

    1/ We are pleased to inform you that the issue you reported has been successfully resolved. Our technical team has disabled the static block cache, menu cache, and the ‘remove query string’ option located under XStore > Theme Options > Speed Optimization. These adjustments have addressed the concerns you were experiencing.

    For your reference, we have included a screenshot in the private content area that illustrates the changes made.

    Additionally, Xstore > Theme options > Styling/color > Main color: means Choose the main color for the site (color of links, active buttons and elements like pagination, sale price, portfolio project mask, blog image mask etc).

    We hope this information is helpful.

    2/ We are pleased to inform you that the issue you reported has been successfully resolved. To ensure the changes are reflected on your end, please clear your browser’s cache and revisit your site.

    Additionally, we have implemented the necessary CSS code adjustments within your site’s configuration. You can find these changes under Xstore > Theme Options > Theme Custom CSS Global CSS. The specific code added is as follows:

    .text-center.et-or-wrapper {
        display: none !important;
    }
    a.et_product_variable-in-quick-view.product_type_variable.add_to_cart_button.et-st-disabled.et-single-buy-now.single_add_to_cart_button.button.alt {
        display: none !important;
    }

    For your reference, images illustrating these adjustments have been uploaded to the private content area of your account.

    Should you require any further assistance or have additional queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team
