    I’m facing a couple of issues with my XSTORE theme after it was updated to the latest version 9.2.5.

    1. No spacing between menu items in the main menu area,

    2. Social Media icons and the advert area right below the main menu does not accept changes to its BG color. I have tried to correct them under header theme options but any changes I make do not take effect.

    3. The header Menu and Footer area are transparent and do not have the white BG color when scrolling up and down.

    4. In the footer area(bottom right), the dollar/Euro appears there. how can I remove or delete it? If possible delete it please

    5. I have installed and using the AMP plugin but it is not displaying the Cookie consent popup. I will like to add its short code to the index.php file in AMP but do not know how to proceed. Can you help?

    Hello, @austin55,

    Thank you for your response.

    1/ We regret to inform you that we are currently experiencing difficulties accessing your website. For your reference, we have included a screenshot of the issue in the private content area.

    To facilitate our assistance, we kindly request that you provide us with valid wp-admin login credentials. Additionally, we would appreciate it if you could temporarily disable any additional verification requirements for login purposes.

    Your cooperation in this matter will enable us to provide you with the necessary support promptly.

    Thank you for your attention to this request. We look forward to your prompt response.

    2/ We have carefully reviewed your request and upon examination, it appears that the issue you are experiencing is related to a cache problem on your end.

    Kindly proceed to Xstore > Theme Options > Speed optimization. Once there, please locate and select Menu Dropdown Cache, Menu Cache, Static Blocks Cache, and Remove Query Strings From Static Resources. Subsequently, turn off these options.

    In the event that you are utilizing a cache plugin and CDN, we recommend temporarily disabling it.

    3/ If the changes you make in the Customizer are not reflected on the page, it is likely a caching issue. If the changes are visible in the Customizer, they should also be visible on the front end.

    4/ Please read our theme documentation: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/139-cant-see-changes-in-the-header-on-the-home-page

    5/ If the issue still persist, Please record a video of the problem for a better understanding. Upload it on a filesharing service, for example – https://wetransfer.com/ , and provide us with URL.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello, @austin55,

    Thank you for your response.

    We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins and disabling temporary CDN or server cache) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins), clearing the cache of the browser, and then checking again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.

    If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization. This will allow us to investigate and assist you accordingly.

    Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

    Best Regards,
    The 8Theme Team.

    Dear Austin,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We am reaching out to address a couple of queries you have regarding your website’s functionality.

    1. Regarding the currency display in the footer area (bottom right), if you wish to remove or delete the dollar/Euro symbol, please follow these steps:

    – Access your WordPress Dashboard.
    – Navigate to “Appearance” and then select “Widgets”.
    – Locate the “Menu” widget within the “Footer Copyrights Right” sidebar.
    – Remove the widget to eliminate the currency display.

    For your convenience, here is a screenshot illustrating the process: [https://prnt.sc/9ssjWSoWG0XD](https://prnt.sc/9ssjWSoWG0XD)

    2. Concerning the AMP plugin and the Cookie consent popup, We understand you would like to integrate a shortcode into the index.php file for AMP. To assist you with this, please insert the following code into the functions.php file located in your child theme:

    add_action('xstore_amp_after_footer', 'n2t_xstore_amp_after_footer');
    function n2t_xstore_amp_after_footer(){
        echo do_shortcode('[your-shortcode]');
    }

    Replace [your-shortcode] with the actual shortcode you wish to use for the Cookie consent popup.

    Please proceed with these adjustments and let us know the outcome. We are here to provide any further assistance you may require.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hi,

    Many thanks, For the cookie Consent short code, no popup appears when the site is open with AMP on my mobile phone- Since I am unsure about which of the child theme to use, I tried the code on the below themes’ functions.php

    For the child theme on this link – the cookie consent does not popup

    \wp-content\themes\xstore\framework\thirdparty\child-theme

    I tried it on the one below but it does not work too. Below the Copyright area a message is displayed stating that there is a critical error on this site – so i deleted the code which I added from its functions.php

    \wp-content\themes\xstore-child

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    Dear Austin,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    Kindly note that the accurate directory path to be used is as follows: \wp-content\themes\xstore-child.

    We would appreciate it if you could attempt the process once more utilizing the provided code snippet:

    add_action('xstore_amp_after_footer', 'n2t_xstore_amp_after_footer');
    function n2t_xstore_amp_after_footer(){
        echo do_shortcode('[your-shortcode]');
    }

    Should the issue persist after this adjustment, we kindly request that you reissue your administrative credentials to us. It appears that the previously supplied password is no longer valid.

    We thank you for your cooperation and look forward to your prompt response.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team
