Subject: Request for XStore and Elementor expert assistance

Hello Richard

I hope you’re doing well.

We recently purchased the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin, and their support team has been very helpful. After reviewing our site, they’ve suggested that we consult with a specialist in both XStore and Elementor, to resolve some of the issues that were identified. (see email in private content)

Since we already have a paid support plan with 8theme, could you please let us know if you have a developer with that expertise who can assist? And if so, what would be the process? We would really appreciate your guidance and any recommendations that you may have.

Hello @Mark,

We have noticed that you have implemented some customizations on your product images to achieve specific maximum height and width proportions. As you are aware, we are not responsible for any modifications made by customers on their websites. However, you may consider adding additional custom CSS to set the aspect ratio for your images:

.content-product .product-content-image img { aspect-ratio: 4/3; object-fit: cover; }

We wanted to thank you sincerely for your exceptional support and responsiveness with our e-commerce website. Your help has made a real difference. We would like to ask whether your company offer expert assistance with WordPress sites using the XStore theme, WooCommerce and Elementor.

Specifically, we would appreciate an analysis of our current plugins to determine whether all are necessary or if some can be safely removed to optimize site performance, including speed and load times for both the homepage and product pages. If you do offer this service, could you please advise us on the process and the associated costs?

Hello @Mark,

We have reviewed some of your plugins and here is our analysis:

1. WooCommerce Infinite Scroll and Ajax Pagination – You can utilize our built-in functionality in Theme Options -> WooCommerce -> Shop layout (https://gyazo.com/822767e632de8a75860901aefca43fe3) and remove the plugin.

2. Otter – Page Builder Blocks & Extensions for Gutenberg – Since you are using the Elementor builder on your website, do you still need Gutenberg widgets on some pages? If not, you can remove this plugin and create your content using the Elementor editor.

3. Maintenance – We offer built-in functionality for this feature (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-features/maintenance-mode/). You can also activate this functionality in WooCommerce settings for the live/coming soon mode of your Shop page (https://woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/coming-soon-mode/).

4. Classic Widgets – There is no need for an additional plugin for classic widgets as we have a built-in setting that covers this functionality: https://gyazo.com/58052209e4059f0aa5f8c1476fc7942c.
