Static block displaying image carousel in single product

Hello,

Will try to explain this as good as i can.

I am building a doors and windows website.

The product page must have: main picture, some text, color variations slider (showing 7-10 in a row) – 100 variations and model images (also 50+). So pictures have to be in a slider.

First i have created a product (specific door). Than i have created one static block that will display color variations and the other that will display the models on that specific door.

I used “Image carousel” element and inserted the pictures of the colors.
I wanted to use your gallery element but i would have to input one image at a time and that would take to much time. Or am i wrong? The pictures have to be in a slider (obvious).

Than i displayed the images in 7-10 slides to show. I copied and pasted the shortcode of the static block on the product page and it shows only one picture on frontend but in backend it shows them normally (see pictures in private).

Also, can i input a litle bit of space between the pictures?

PS: I have tried your “Media Carousel” and it does the job perfectly (i can enlarge the pictures and input spacing) but i can’t input one picture at a time in single tab, that would take really to much time. Can i add the pictures in bulk? Funny thing it also displays the pictures (7-10) in a row normally on backend but on frontend it only displays one. I have cleared the cache and it’s the same.

I’ve put the access in private just in case.

Hello, @TheOne,

1. I have checked your site now and found no issue. you are using “Image carousel” element and inserting the pictures of the colors.

The displays all the pictures slide to show (6) in a row normally on the backend and front-end as well. It seems to be a cache issue at your end nothing else. please check back to your site after clearing the browser cache or try to check a fresh new browser.

And The” gallery” element have the option to add the pictures in bulk but pictures do not have to be in a slider. I have captured a video for you on my test site. 2. Unfortunately, there is no such option to add the pictures in bulk for the “Media Carousel” element.

Hello,

Thank you for a detailed anwser. Unfortunately image sliders still doesn’t work – not in Brave, Mozilla or Chrome. It doesn’t show them right on frontend (see picture).

After some investigating i found something. See picture how i see the broken layout when i load the page. But than if i go to browsers quick settings dropdown and set zoom to 90% and the color variations appear. Than i set the page zoom to 100% and they are still there.

I than refresh the page and it goes back to the broken layout?

Also for number 1 (image carousel). Thank you, this should do but do i have a zoom (lightbox) option in this module?

Edit: i called two friends 5 minutes ago so they could check the pictures and they have the same problem. They see a broken layout and when they zoom out page the pictures appear. One friend has a MAC and the other PC.

Hello Rose,

No, the problem is still there. I don’t understand how is it working at your end and not here – like i said, even my friends see the same broken layout as me. Only browser zoom fixes the issue but it comes back when you refresh the page.

Can you anwser me on (from before): Also for number 1 (image carousel). Thank you, this should do but do i have a zoom (lightbox) option in this module?

I insterted the static block to a product in another xstore installation (another domain) and the problem is the same.

Could you please, check now (don’t forget to clear your caches) if you still have issues give us a few answers:
1/ which browser do you use ?
2/ What are your devices and their monitors’ WxH ?
3/ Did you try to check from incognito window ?

Hello,

Still doesn’t work. I’ve cleared everything with Ccleaner and with Litespeed.

1. I use Brave. But i’ve tested also with: Mozilla, Edge, Chrome
2. My devices:
– Mobile phone (xiaomi mi9t pro) – doesnt work in normal or horizontal view
– Xiaomi Pad 5 – doesnt work in normal (vertical) but does work in horizontal
– PC Monitor: https://support.hp.com/si-en/document/c05633995
3. I tried every browser above in incognito mode and it’s the same issue. Except Edge did show the colors at first but after refresh it wen’t back to broken layout.

I found out that static block (colors) are displaying normally in if insert the shortcode into a page and not in the product. So this clearly isn’t my setup problem (or my friends) ?

Edit: tried the image carousel on completely differently domain and xstore installation (3rd one) and it’s still the same problem.

On the page you sent there are is not stretch section so there could be a problem in it’s script.

I unchecked the option, refreshed the page and the colors appeared. Then i refreshed the page again and it went back to broken layout. Image in private.

Hello,

We found that you had selected custom size for images but with no values -> https://prnt.sc/5TBjphvkpyO- ? => We changed it for you to medium (because it could be one part of the issues you have)
Secondly, we disabled the loop option for this slider -> https://prnt.sc/OgFL_lB2h3eX , because this could also create such issues for you.

We cannot replicate this issue on any of our team member’s devices and it is strange for us that you have such one, so we cannot fix the issue, because we cannot replicate it from our side, unfortunately. We would recommend you (if you still have this problem after our changes in options above) to change that widget to an alternative one or similar:
1/ https://prnt.sc/xbM8XjLR2H4l (Gallery/Basic Gallery/Media carousel)
2/ try to contact Elementor support with such an issue (because it is their default widget you are using now ).

Hello,

The problem is still there. Even when i clear cache, restart the computer – i open the product the colors are there but when i refresh the page it goes back to broken layout. I used your themes media carousel and the problem is the same. It seems that ill have to use normal media grid.
