    Hi,

When I place an order, the page redirects to Cart page after the payment, instead of Order Received page. It doesn’t change if I choose different payment methods. Could you please check what is the reason of this issue?

Thanks in advance for your assistance. Have a good day!

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Please check how it works when not our theme, but the Storefront theme is activated.
    Let us know the result.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello, @Liva,

We hope this message finds you well. We are writing to request your assistance with a few troubleshooting steps.

    1) Could you kindly verify the functionality when the Advanced Layout is deactivated? This can be done by navigating to Theme Options > WooCommerce > Cart/Checkout Layout.

    2) If the problem persists, we would appreciate it if you could test the issue by activating a default WordPress Theme such as Storefront or Twenty Twenty Three. This step will help us ascertain whether the issue is related to our theme.

If the issue continues to persist even with the default WordPress Theme, it suggests that our theme is not the cause of the problem. In such a scenario, we recommend reaching out to WooCommerce support for further assistance.

    3) However, if the issue does not persist with the default WordPress Theme, we kindly request you to record a video of the problem for a better understanding. Please upload the video to a file-sharing service, such as https://wetransfer.com/, and provide us with the URL.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your response.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Hello, @Liva,

Thank you for reaching out and for letting me know that you’ve tried the suggested solutions. I’m sorry to hear that the problem is still persisting.

Reaching out to WooCommerce support is a great step to take, and they should be able to provide you with more specific assistance for this issue.

In the meantime, here are a couple of additional suggestions:

Check for Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, conflicts between different plugins can cause issues. You might want to temporarily deactivate all your plugins except for WooCommerce to see if the problem persists. If it doesn’t, then you can reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting one.

Update Everything: Ensure that you have the latest versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, and your theme installed. Outdated software can sometimes lead to compatibility issues.

Check for JavaScript Errors: Use your browser’s developer console to check for any JavaScript errors on the affected pages. Sometimes, these errors can provide clues about the issue.

If you try these steps and the problem still isn’t resolved, WooCommerce support should be able to assist you further. Please keep us updated on your progress, and we are here to help if you have any more questions.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Hi,

I finally found what caused this issue. Apparently, Yoast SEO has a setting under advanced options which prevents redirection of links containing special parameters. In this case, “key” parameter of the order is ignored by Yoast SEO and it redirects to cart page since WooCommerce cannot see the key parameter. I disabled the setting “Advanced -> Crawl Optimization -> Remove Unregistered URL Parameters” and the problem is solved. Furthermore, the same setting was the reason of one of my previous problems (https://www.8theme.com/topic/search-result-page-shows-blog-results/#post-367705)

Thank you for your assistance and suggestions. Have a good day!
