Out site http://highpassion.ch/ runs on 512 MB ram allocation, with an 4 GB ram 4 CPU core VPS + SSD storage. Bandwidth is not an issue, but the way the site loads, is critical, we always had issues since very first day, but yet since products are increasing in number, site load is unbelievable slow. I see I am not the only one complaining about site speed. What is to be done?

    Hello,

Have you tried disabling all 3rd-party plugins?
Does the issue persist with default WordPress theme?

    Thank you.

First of all, basic plugins bundled with the theme are not to be disabled since they showcase the functions of the theme, basicly thats what you sold. Woocommerce + WPML supported by the theme, should not slow it down. Site loads quick ofcourse with a basic template and without plugins, is kinda out of subject this… But the 2000 DOMS on load, and the bundled JS within the theme, I have no idea… Something smelled bad with this theme since we bought it… It might look nice, but is only a visual side. We run other 10+ wordpress sites, none of them load so hard as this one…
