    Hi,

When I activate “Display related products” in theme options AND set in the “8theme product options” under the product (backend) an “additional custom block”, the related products disappearing under the single product (frontend).

    BEST!

    Hello,

If you choose additional custom block then related products should be displayed below this block. In case you don’t have them, please, provide admin panel access.

We checked the suggestions that you posted in topic. Some of them will be implemented in one of future theme updates.

But we are not sure if it’s useful for prefooter. If you plan to use custom footer static block you may compose footer that will include both prefooter and footer and there is no need to choose 2 different static blocks if you can show all the necessary information in one block but using 2 rows layout.

    Regards

    Hi there!

Thanks for your answer. I will provide login soon.

    I think you misunderstood me.

You have the possibility to set “Footer Column 1 -4” but if I choose in page options “Use custom footer for this page/post” the columns and my bottom footer bar are gone.

On product pages and other pages/ category pages I can set (or even not) “Additional custom block” and all the time the widget area “prefooter” is visible. So I cannot customize the footers in an easy consistent way.

I think this settings would be the best for all pages, posts and categories:

    • Dropdown for choosing (or not) static block above footer.
    • Checkbox for show/ hide “Footer widget-columns”
    • Checkbox for show/ hide “copyright bar”

-> so you can remove the widget area “Prefooter”.

    What do you think? 🙂

    Hello,

I understand your idea! And we’ll discuss your suggestion on developer meeting.

But I described the way how to add custom prefooter/footer/copyrights at present.
For example, you have the page where you need to show only custom prefooter and custom copyrights. Now you don’t need to use 3 options and choose what block to show in every area. You just created 1 static block http://prntscr.com/ck5qex and chose it in page settings http://prntscr.com/ck5sbc

Shop/Blog pages are special pages and use only default prefooter/footer/copyrights areas from Appearance > Widgets. And there is no way to change it, unfortunately.

    Regards

    Hi,

Yeah I know the way it is working right now but it makes no sense at all to me ;).

I must remove the widgets in prefooter widget area or it is displayed as standard on all posts/ categories. Prefooter widget area is useless for now.

The biggest thing is, that I cannot set different footers for blog or product pages neither blog or shop categories… It is the same on every page. But it shouldn’t be.

My suggestion would offer the opportunity to set the footer in a consistent way and with more
    possibilities…
