Good Day, please could you advise as to why the search facility does not display pages at all. I have purchased and installed SearchWP and still no results besides Posts.

So naturally that would mean that there is something in the theme that limits to only posts and products.

    Please advise urgently.

    Thank You

Hi Eva, thank you for assistance thus far. It brings up pages in search results at the moment, but the search display page seems to be “broken”

How would I go about adjusting the search template to bring up just titles and excerpts for page content. In a similar way that the post search results display.

Thank You for all the assistance thus far. Bar this the site is ready to go live..

    Z

    Hello,

In this case you have to use “more” tag in page content to show “Read more” button.
    Please refer to these articles:

Hi Eva, unfortunately those options are not going to work, please check private content for what is happening on search.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Have you made any changes?
Now I see this template for search results page:
    http://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/15/1002/h_1443791156_3530807_fc98007db1.png

Also this requires additional customization for the search plugin that you’re using. Please take our apologies but we don’t provide support for 3rd-party plugins.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Hi, the search plugin does not require any customisation. It is the theme search.php that has no display options set up at all and is initially set to just display products and posts.

All searchwp does is index items, feeds and displays according to search.php

Hi, I have managed to create my own search.php template. However I require assistance with 3 issues please.

    1) The #SearchModal popup does not work on the search page
    2) The Language selector does not drop-down on the search page
3 How would I increase excerpt length (I increased in themefunctions.php but it still doesn’t increase)

    Please advise

    Thank You

    Hello,

    1. As I see search pop up window is working:
    http://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/15/1006/h_1444127456_6977215_c8efced62a.png

    2. I don’t see language selector in header now. Have you removed it?

    3. Please show a screenshot what you want to achieve and specify what exactly you modified.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
