Related products / out of stock still showing

Hello, this update seems to be a bit off of what i expected. A lot of products doesnt have related products now. So there are no option for my visitors to click other titles in my shop which won’t help me with the sale. 🙁

anyone? sorry for asking too much but i think it’s better to have related products on my site even out of stock than nothing at all. i never expected that it won’t be possible to have the feature showing only related products in stock.

Hello,

If all the related products are out of stock and you want to hide out of stock products then area is empty of course.
You can use Upsells products and display them below the Related products (Theme Options > WooCommerce > Single products > Show upsell products > below the content). Upsell products allow you manually to choose what products to show there.

If you want to show the out of stock products for the related products then edit related-products.php file code and change that back according to what you want to show there.

I thought that showing ONLY in stock on related products are possible. A lot of products in my site doesnt have related products anymore after the update youve done.

Was it not possible to only show in stock items on related products in my site?

What should i need to change in related-product.php to put back the site before the edit?

I think i’m fine with this but i want to fix some products that were not showing the correct number of related products. Would this be possible?

Also, i want to put back the black social media share buttons on my single product page. 🙁

My related products are problematic now after this fix so i have to disable it. it showing lots of titles now which is shouldnot. before i set the rel;ated oproduct 6 thumbs only now its broken. someone should fix this i didnt messed up the site

Hello,

You can enable SIngle product builder in Theme options but keep in mind that it does not fully work because of your changes in the child theme. So, probably only some elements work.

Is it possible to just add static block on single product page manually? or would need a custom code? I’ll try to enable single product builder later but will do a backup to do this. I dont want to mess up the product page.

Hello,

Enabling/disabling option won’t mess up the page. You can enable option check if everything is ok for you. If not then you’ll be able to disable that and it won’t affect the current layout.
If you want to show custom static block on the single product you can use Additional Custom Block option https://prnt.sc/1tcntf1

This should be nice. But i have to edit all of the single product pages to add custom block right? I have 500+ products already 🙁

Hello,

I’m afraid yes. In another case, additional customization is required to show some custom block for all the products without editing of every product.
