Quick View missing Function and CSS Code

    Hello together

    I noticed something and I wanted to ask if you could add it?
    In the quick view you can select a product variant.
    However, you can not reset the selection…
    So the function reset selection is missing. :/

    Then I have a please

    I can not find the css code itself
    I would like that the selection frame and font are not in the color gray but in #EE1250

    Hello, @Oliver Theiß,

    I have checked the same thing on our test site and it works fine already https://postimg.cc/p9H19fvZ The issue appears only on your site. I can see that you are not using the latest version of the theme on your site. Please update the theme and its core plugin “XSTORE CORE” to the latest version then check back to your issue after clearing the browser cache. You can follow this article to update the theme successfully on your site: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/63-theme-update

    And if the issue will still persist then please try to disable all the third-party plugins (including cache plugins), that do not come bundled with XStore https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins, clear the cache of the browser, and check then. Maybe one of the additional plugins is the reason for the problem.

    And if the issue will still persist then please remain all the third-party plugins deactivated on your site and allow permission to debug your site which includes deactivating all the third-party plugins and on-site Customization as well so that I will check and assist you accordingly.

    Note: Please take the complete backup of your site first.

    it says “Clear” for the selection.

    I have to update your theme….
    but currently it does not work ..somehow I can not update it

    Selection problem quickly view – error found!

    there is a compatibility problem with the woocomerce settings at the product level.(So in the backend where I edit my products)

    If I set a fixed standard variant at the product level… So make a variant preselection. Then the selection in the quick view does not work. :((

    On the normal product page I can reset the selection without problems

    I think the problem is not noticed yet, because many do not use the function so.

    1. Thanks for the screenshot, I have understood your issue.
    Now, In order to solve your issue simply go to the Dashboard >> XStore >> Theme Options >> Theme Custom CSS >> Global and then paste the below code at the bottom of the CSS box there.

    .et-quick-view-wrapper .et_attribute-name:after{color:#EE1250 !important;}
    .et-quick-view-wrapper .product p.wc-gzd-additional-info a{color:#EE1250 !important;}

    Then save settings and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

    2. I will get back to you on this after confirmation from our dev team. Please be patience and stay tuned.

    Hello,

    1/ The fix was uploaded, but there is cache of some sort, maybe from server side and CDN, so we can’t see our changes on your site. Please clear all cache and check then.
    2/ About the search, you need to disable cache first, so we can take a closer look at the situation and settings. There is no such problem on our test site, so we should work on it on yours. If your site is live, you can create a staging site (full copy of the existing one), and provide us with access, so we can do tests there without affecting the live site.

    One more thing about the problem with the search. Could you, please record a video of how it works for you?
    Also, try to change the Type to full-width via Header Builder > Search – https://prnt.sc/znXe7WXHQH8a , and check how it works then.

    I just wanted to give a quick feedback. Yes , the bug in the quick view is fixed and it works now also with the preselected variants. Many thanks

    But I have a request, this has been bothering me for a while.

    We have months ago changed the button in my quick view.that was then for eu legal reasons…. But the view and function is now okay.

    Can we set it again so that the in the cart button appears in the quick view. Currently I link from the quick view not to the product page.

    but if everything is selected in the quick view i would like to link to the cart

    I think you know what I mean…

    We would like to inform you that we are not responsible for any changes you make to your child-theme or any changes made by third-party plugins. We have noticed that you have copied and modified the xstore/woocommerce/product-quick-view.php file to your xstore-child/woocommerce/product-quick-view.php. Upon comparing the original file’s content and the content of your modified file, we have found that there are too many differences ( https://prnt.sc/H1FbS1XA5v-3 ).

    To fix the button issue you mentioned, you may simply rename your xstore-child/woocommerce/product-quick-view.php file and check if there are no bugs with the original file. If there are, you can try to identify the source of the issue in your rewritten file and remove or temporarily comment out those lines.

    Also, you have to know that it is impossible for us to know each client’s changes we make, and as well we cannot fix/remove code we added for a client months ago. But definitely, we can check it with the topic + information about “what it was done for” and what could we do for that.

    P.S. Did you try to rename that file and check if everyhing is ok ? Please, provide us screenshots of the button you need to return back to the previous version because for now we cannot understand what exactly should we check according to this message
