Question about top bar - by truer - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Hello, i will like how i can add social icons to the left of top bar like ur demo and how is possible make the hover over the Login / Register links for do it in the same pages without change it and the newsletter, i read all the documentation but i didnt see the info and the options of the header in Theme Options are very poor…

I’m having the exact same issue. I saw a reply on another thread but it made no sense:

1) Please add following code to your themes/royal/custom.css file:

I did this and it did not do anything. The language and currency options are still there: http://sophiemayclothing.com

Also that thread said to:

This reply doesn’t make sense.

My issue is the same as originator of this forum post.

I simply want what is supposed to be the default format for the social icons and contact as seen here:

Can you please give a step by step tutorial for a beginner on how to do this?

1. Where do we manage the order of the icons (i.e. fb first, google+ etc..)
2. Where do we set up our corresponding links for each? (i.e. if we have fb where we can put our fb page link/url)
3. How do we set these icons to open in a new tab or window?

I think its odd that this is not included in the Theme Setting as social sharing is really important.

Hello

Please provide us with wp-admin credentials to your site to let us check css code for languages area.
You may also watch here how to create custom.css:

These links allow you to share your home/product page via Facebook etc. from any account. You may test their functionality on our demo pages.
Please navigate to the appearance->widgets->place in header top bar and put an empty text widget into this area. Then type[share] in widget text field. You are able to use icons with mentioned method in every custom html field.
2. You may change their order editing wp-content/themes/royal/framework/shortcodes.php(please search for “share” word within). Or you may arrange them with css without php file editing.
3. They are should be set already for loading in new page and you may change it in shortcodes.php

Thank u for the answer, and do u use some addon for do it your Login and Sign in Demo shows dropdown when i hover with the mouse? And for the newsletter?

I will like do that in my web 😀

No, we don’t use any plugin for it. As I see you have pop up window for “Sign In” link.

Oh sorry, yes i did bad the question, i means how i can add newsletter and register links to the top bar? I didnt see any option in theme option > header

Hello @truer,

You need to enable top bar in Theme Options->Header and select Header type 10, for example.

U not understand me, i know change the header composition, but when i choose for example the type 7, the top bar doesnt show NEWSLETTER and REGISTER links like the demo…do u understand me now? I put social media icons with [share] in widgets but i dont know how i can add Register link and Newsletter to the right.

To show “Newsletter” link make sure you enabled pop up window in Theme Options > Promo Popup.
