I’m having issues with the Products (Depreciated) and the Products Grid widgets for Elementor. I started with the Products (Depreciated) and put the product limit to -1 to make it unlimited, but it didn’t work. So I tried the Products Grid widget and added all the products that I needed via “List of IDs”, but realized that there’s a limit on there as well and it removed the first products that I listed. I’ve been looking at this widget and don’t see anything that allows me to make the limited number of products unlimited. Please advise.

I forgot to add that there is no option for sorting by date. It orders by the ID numbers which is definitely not something I want.

    Hello, Calle,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

Your site is under maintenance mode, so we can’t check it without access.
To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password via the Private Content area.

Do you use Elementor, here is an example – https://prnt.sc/iSjHtgWi-aGP
If you have a lot of products your server may not be able to handle this request to show all products at once, so only some products will be shown. Enabling navigation as shown on the screenshot may help you.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

I’ve created a new user for you.

I don’t want all of the products showing, I want to use specific IDs from the data source section. I’ve done this with other websites without issue. The most I would put into a gallery would be 50 (more likely 30) The limit seems to be 22 products before it cuts off and starts removing the first products listed.

I’m providing a link to one of the pages that can show that example. Under the “Living” section is where I tried using the Products (Depreciated) and need 31 products. Under “Occasional” I tried the Products Grid and need 27 products, but ended up breaking it up into 2 widgets, which doesn’t look right. I’ve made the Navigation “Infinite Scroll”, but it’s still removing the first products listed and I’m not seeing an option to sort by date.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello, Calle,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

1/ Custom code from this topic https://www.8theme.com/topic/hotspot-widget-does-not-list-all-products/#post-368857 can be used in functions.php file of the child theme to change the limit.

2/ We would recommend you do not enter IDs one by one, but show products by categories or tags – https://prnt.sc/mz_yKdG4YTJw Then it will be more flexible, and sorting and other things will work correctly.
Just add appropriate tags for products, it can be done via Bulk edit in the Dashboard https://prnt.sc/tipLw2aaRcFq
About sorting, there is an issue from the Elementor side when IDs were entered, and we already contacted them https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/13078 but there is no perfect solution yet.

    Kind Regards,

Perfect! Between the custom code and converting it to categories, it seems to be doing exactly what I want.

I appreciate your help! Have a great day!
