    Hello,

    The problem is caused by the next custom CSS code – https://gyazo.com/242c69b1d8001b9fc98f772c4bd579f5 , you need to find where it was added and change or delete the code.

    Regards

    Hello,
    i found this in global css settings but it is not my entry.
    Looks like yours. Maybe it showed up after the last update, but I certainly didn’t add it.
    Should I remove it?

    Try to change size in settings of element – https://gyazo.com/7e7298fe1d83089b240975fd16d9b657 , for example – 400×250

    Hello, @Peter,

    We are pleased to inform you that it is possible to adjust the size of the images in the Recent Posts widget with the help of custom CSS code. Please copy and paste the following CSS code to XStore >> Theme Settings >> Theme Custom CSS >> Global CSS and then clear your browser cache.

    .sidebar-widget .recent-posts-widget img {
        max-width: 7.5em !important;
        width: 150px !important;
        height: 75px !important;
    }

    The result will appear as shown in the attached image https://ibb.co/PhbJjJf . Please note that you can change/set the values in the given code as per your needs.

    We hope this information is helpful.

    Thanks.
    The images are now stretched.
    Do I need to somehow rebuild the “thumbnails” to display correctly?

    Hello @Peter,

    We kindly ask that you attempt to rebuild the thumbnails based on the specified width, and height, as this is the only way to ensure that it works correctly.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Hello Peter,

    We suggest you try using the plugin, otherwise you will need to manually upload the content again.

    Hello Peter,

    I would like to explain to you that the images you want in a horizontal shape are located under the widget. This widget is picking up the images from a single post, which is set as the featured image on the single post and also appears on the single post and blog pages.

    I have provided you with the Custom CSS code for that widget, however, it is not possible to change the image dimensions in that widget as there is no such option available.

    If you alter the dimensions of an image and re-upload it to the post, it will also affect the single post and blog post images, as the widget is automatically selecting the post image.

    If you are not satisfied with the given CSS code, you may remove it. However, any additional customization work required is beyond our capabilities.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team
