    After installing my theme, a message informs me I have to install two required plugins:

    This theme requires the following plugins: Ultimate addons for Visual Composer and Visual Composer.

    I proceed. But then this happens:
    1) Visual Composer (which shows up as WPBakery Visual Composer under Plugin tab) – after install and activation, it gives my whole website a Fatal Error!

    How can I fix this plugin issue?

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    I forgot to mention that I downloaded the plugin via https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ so it is the most updated one (according to the other support forms). And then uploaded it via FTP which gave me the Fatal Error.

    Hello,

    There is an error “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted”. You need contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase memory_limit value.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello. I already asked them to increase it initially for the theme and other plugins to install correctly. They updated it and I was able to move forward. Only this plugin is giving me an issue to the full website.

    Settings have been requested as the document requests:
    file_get_contents() function should be enabled in the server configuration;
    PHP version: 5.3 or higher;
    max_execution_time: no less than 180;
    memory_limit: no less than 64M;
    upload_max_filesize: no less than 20M.

    So what is the exact memory_limit value that it needs to be for ALL of your required plugins and add-ons to work?

    Hello,

    Please ask hosting provider to increase memory limit to 128M.

    Thank you.

    I don’t know, I was expecting you to take care of the issue and install the plugin correctly since you have full access. I just want to make sure its set up correctly and is functionally right. Please install and make sure everything is correct on your and my end. Thanks.

    Hello,

    As I see WPBakery Visual Composer plugin is activated in Plugins section and working properly in Pages editor.
    Please check it yourself.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    I just checked and the plugin is there. Thank you!

    Also, I would advise your documents to be updated to the correct memory_limit to streamline the process for customers.
