Not enough stock validation error doesn’t stop ajax checkout request from creating a new order

    Hi,

    I’m not sure this issue could be related to your implementation or it’s totally woocommerce!

    Add one item to cart, proceed to checkout, pay by card, then don’t pay and go back to website.
    A new order will be created with “Pending” status but cart won’t be cleared.
    Add one more item to the cart (cart will have now the previously ordered item + new item), then proceed to checkout, pay by card
    Not enough stock validation will show up
    But a new Order will be created!

    So actually there is 2 issues, the cart not clearing from first order, then creating a second order while having not enough stock validation error,

    Could you please advice, thank you

    Could you please test if the same issue occurs when using a default theme, such as Storefront? (Appearance — Themes).
    If the behavior continues regardless of the theme being used, it suggests that the problem may not be related to the theme itself. In this case, we would recommend you contact support of woocommerce plugin – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/
