Mobile menu takes a while to load and does not scroll on iPhone

Hello, I have noticed that the menu on my mobile takes me to load and also does not scroll in my ihpone. With Android I think it works fine, but not on iPhone. I have changed the different types of Off-Canvas from the menu and everything works badly on my iphone. Now I have the one that opens in full screen and from the moment you click on the open menu button until it shows it, it happens like 3 seconds, why is that? It has a solution?

Hi,

I tested on my mobile and it worked

– Please clear all cache and try again

– You should deactivate all plugins and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems.

It is not a plugin or cache problem, since in one of its main demos it gives me problems too. In this demo: https://xstore.8theme.com/demos/electronics/ If I try to open the categories, it won’t let me scroll to see the categories below. However in this other demo, which is also from its developers: https://www.8theme.com/demo/royal/ the menu works perfectly for me. What is the difference? All this happens to me on my Iphone X, on Android it works for me, but on Iphone it doesn’t. Please take a good look at it and give me a solution. Also since I click the button until the menu appears, it takes me 3 seconds to load …. Thanks

Hello, I do not know if you have been able to look at some of this … But since it is urgent for me, could you put the same menu that they use in the Royale theme for the Xstore theme? Since you are the same developer in both themes and in the royale it works for me correctly, could you do any implementation?

Ok, I already updated the theme … Now if I enter in the shop page it works fine … But if I enter any page outside of /shop, for example, home, about us … The scroll does not work well in those pages. Why?

Also in the canvas menu, it continues to take at least 3 seconds for the menu to appear…

yes, but the scroll still doesn’t work well. I have detected that with the Firefox browser it does well, but with Safari and Google Chrome on an iphone or ipad it does not work well.

Try to disable autooptimize plugin and check again. Also, Revolution slider can be a reason for the scroll problem on mobile (home page). Please, check if the problem exists on our demos https://xstore.8theme.com/preview-new/

Ok, I try to enter to test it in your demo: https://xstore.8theme.com/preview-new/ but it does not display well, it loads the web page without CSS styles, please fix it and I test if in your demo I load the menu well. Before the update it didn’t load me well in its demo either.

Sometimes issues that you describe are related to CDN, that’s strange. Could you provide us screenshot of the problem with our demo? Where are you from? We made some changes on our demo, so if it works for you then we will be able to understand the reason of the problem on your site.

I just saw the demo and the menu doesn’t work well on iPhone, it doesn’t scroll well. So it is not a problem of any plugin on my part. I have tried several themes, for example in this one: https://xstore.8theme.com/demos/animals/ does not work, so they can be tested on an iphone with safari.

Take our apologies for this inconvenience. It seems that the fix of this issue causes a problem with another option. Our developers need more time to find a good solution, completely new that won’t cause problems with other elements.

We are trying to find the reason of that scroll bug but no success at this moment. This issue appears for the iPhone only and it’s little bit difficult to find what style causes such glitch for mobile iOS. But we are working.

Hello,

Could you please provide us with valid wp dashboards and FTP access to check your site settings in more detail? We try to reproduce the issue using the latest theme archive on our test installes and don’t have this problem. So, we need to study your site. And don’t forget to install https://wordpress.org/plugins/cloudflare/ and log in to your account to allow us to clear CDN cache.
