    Hello Ladies and Gentleman,

I’ve got a huge problem here. We’ve been working on an Online Shop for weeks and it was supposed to finally go online tomorrow, yet we discovered that the mobile menu is not working on mobile devices.

However it is not the whole menu, only if you visit product-category pages and some product pages and only on real mobile devices, resizing the browser-window does _NOT_ reproduce the problem.
The mobile menu button there is not working at all.
We’ve tested this on 3 devices (Samsung Galaxy S2, Samsung Galaxy S6 and LeEco Le 2), different browsers and browser versions. Not a single one worked.

As we did a lot of customization on your Theme I cannot simply update it (at least not by uploading all theme-files as this will overwrite all the modifications that have been done for hours and hours and hours).

As someone else already had the same issue (https://www.8theme.com/topic/mobile-problems/) I’m kind of confident that you can provide help soon.

Sadly I’ve already imported a lot of customer-records from an existing shop and so I cannot give you full access to the Dashboard, FTP and/or MySQL-Database.
The private content provided below is just to bypass the installed “coming soon”-plugin.

Deactivating all plugins that are not related to your theme did not fix the issue. I also did – temporarily – undo a lot of the changes made by our company which also did not fix the issue.

    —-

So if this has been an issue in the past: please, please, please provide us with the Changes you did to fix it. I might even loose my job if I can’t fix it in time – and that currently drives me crazy.

    Kind regards,
    Chris

Update: It only does not work if there is a variable-product inside the product -listing on the category page.
Which is even more strange. -.-

    Hello,

At first we don’t recommend to make changes in the parent theme files because you’ll loose them after theme update. Create child theme https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes and move your modifications there.
Then update the theme to the latest version and required plugins too https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.

After update check if the issue persists with parent theme or only with child theme.

Also to investigate this problem we need full access to your dashboard and FTP as now it’s difficult to find out the reason.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hello Jack,

I know it’s hard to investigate this without full access but as I already mentioned I can’t give you Access until I did remove alle customer-records. Yet my Boss will kill me if I let you access all the data and probably he’ll also kill me if I start making huge Changes like that on the release date. 🙂

So it’s going online, even if that means to create single products for all existing variations.

Hoewever: can you provide a detailed Changelog? That would also be a huge help. Can’t be a huge error – probably just one line in one file? 🙂

    Thank you.

    Hello,

You can find changelog on TF site https://themeforest.net/item/royal-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/8611976

Seems your modifications caused this issue. You need check your custom code attentively which you added in parent theme files.
Again I suggest you to create child theme and move all modified files there.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Almost there… well kind of.

    js/etheme.js line 1664

             if(o_href.length > 5) $lighbox_link.attr('href', o_href);

This throws an error: “TypeError: o_href is undefined” but only when there is a variable product inside the category-page.
However commenting out that line does not seem to have any effect and all lightbox-images still work.

So what does it do? And why does it only do that at variable product listings?

    kind regards,
    Chris

    Hello,

As I told you to check this issue we need access to FTP and WP Dashboard.
Please provide us with this info.

    Thank you.
    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
