I’ve encountered a couple of issues regarding the “Variations As Simple Products” feature on my website.
Mixed Display Problem:
Even though I have enabled the “Variations as Simple Products (Beta)” option (as shown in the attached screenshot), the products are still being displayed both as variable products and as individual variations. For example, the same product appears twice—once as a standard variable product and once as a variation shown as a simple product. This is causing confusion on the shop page.
Missing Short Description:
When variations are displayed as simple products, their short description does not appear on the shop page. This is important for helping customers quickly understand key features of each product variation, so I would really appreciate a solution or workaround for this.
Could you please advise how to:
Prevent variable products from being shown twice (as both a parent and a variation)?
Ensure short descriptions appear for variations displayed as simple products?
