Images not showing when in list view - by zedane

    on my shop page with all my products listed, the images won’t display there is just a little circle with the prduct name and price to the right and if you click through to the product the image is there…

    Can someone help??

    Hello,

    Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
    Did you make any changes in the theme files?

    I did yes when I first installed the them and installed the wooCommerce plugin it asked me to update some outdated files, I just followed the instructions that came up.

    Hi Eva,
    same problem here, after theme/wordpress/woocommerce update the pictures are shown as dots.
    On the single product page no issue though. Could you please also check my site? thnx

    Hello @zedane,

    I’ve reuploaded original “woocommerce” folder from the theme package into wp-content/themes/woopress directory.
    You shouldn’t worry about the notices for outdated files. They won’t affect your site at all. We edited Woocommerce files in wp-content/themes/woopress/woocommerce directory and old version may be written in those files. But, please don’t worry, as the original version is written in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates directory.
    So you can hide this message or you can fix it by editing the files in wp-content/themes/woopress/woocommerce directory and change the version to the current Woocommerce version that you’re using.

    But never replace files in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/woocommerce with the files in wp-content/plugins/woocommerce directory because the design will be broken!

    Hello @frogsandbears,

    Delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress and upload it from the new theme package. Also refer to this post https://www.8theme.com/topic/images-not-showing-when-in-list-view/#post-83270 .

    Dear Jack,
    I must be doing something wrong as it still doesn’t change – I can see only dots 🙁
    If I reinstall the whole theme though it messes up all my previous settings.

    Would it be possible for you to re-upload the files yourself?

    Also rev slider oh home page stopped working after plug in update…

    As I see you need update not only WooCommerce folder, but the WooPress theme too.
    So, please make full backup site and we’ll try to update theme for you.

    same problem here, the pictures on single product page are shown as dots.
    And the ADD TO CART button is not showing as well. Could you please also check my site? thnx

    Hello @Nuno,

    Please update the theme to the latest version.
    Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
    Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

    Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!


    (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Hi Jack,
    deleting woocommerce didnt work, so I re-installed the theme completely. Pictures are working now.
    The slider on home page is still a problem though, smth is wrong with the plugin – i reinstalled it several times but it seems not to work. Could you please have a look?
