Hi,
please check e.g. this page [1] (or other product pages).
On most product pages one or more images won’t load. It looks like this now. The product has a product image assigned, though.
Do you know what’s happening here?
Best regards

Hi,
mh. That’s weird… the only css mod that should be active down here is related to out-of-stock items but excluding this snippet
.items-slider .slider .slide-item .outofstock {
display: none;
}
seems to solve the problem.
It was recommended here.
Edit: The explanation seems quite fitting, because if one uses the right arrow to scroll in the next product the image appears. At my testing scenario two out-of-stock items were hidden and two non-out-of-stock images weren’t loading as they should.
-> Maybe Eva’s fix disturbs the image loading logic?
Would you kindly check this on your side?
Thanks again!
Best regards
Hello,
In this case you can hide out of stock items from products page with the setting “Hide out of stock items from the catalog” in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory.

Hi,
mh, that won’t work. They should be visible in the standard WooCommerce catalog. They just shouldn’t be visible in the recommendation section.
-> It does make sense to keep products in the catalog that aren’t available for sale atm… so that people can find them when they look/google for them. Think of a portfolio… but not everything is available atm.
-> It does not make sense to recommend products that are not ready to be sold atm. In this case you want to show the visitors other products they can actually buy.
Thanks again for taking care!
Best regards

Hello,
This should be discussed with the developers.
We can forward the query to them for discussion.

Hi,
yes. Please do that.
There should be a checkbox at the backend somewhere, saying something like this:
[x] Just show products that are in stock at similiar/recommended products.
It think it’s a logic default behaviour to not recommend products that aren’t available but anyway.
Please let me know how much the checkbox + filter would cost.
Thanks you!
