How to delate demo content from installed child theme?

Hi!
I have a childtheme installed and want to remove all content so I can start with a blank theme and design in Elementor.

I don’t find the button for remove demo-content?

If you imported demo content with an old theme version, not 9.2, this button https://prnt.sc/-8ZL6590mV7q is unavailable.
In this case, you may need to manually delete demo pages https://prnt.sc/i0Ito6GJwFUU , posts, menus, static blocks, and so on.

Can I just erase the hole childtheme and install a new blank theme?

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

On your test site you can do everything you want, but removing the child theme will not delete demo pages, menus, and so on https://www.8theme.com/topic/how-to-build-a-site-from-scratch-with-elementor/#post-371477

If you do not want to manually delete content (it is not difficult), use the Reset plugin to delete everything from the staging site, then copy content from your live site to it (some of our customers use the Duplicator plugin).

If you have a backup, you can restore it. Some hosting providers do regular backups for customers.

1 – The button don’t show up on my site
2 – I have all my content from the livesite installed. It’s a copy of the live site
3 – I don’t want this childtheme

What to do?
This have to be resolved fast. I losing time.

2/ Ok, we know if because you already mentioned this.

3/ So you can delete it.

We already answered all your questions, but you just do not want to follow our recommendation.
You do not want demo content on the site, so just delete it. What problem do you face with manually deleting content? Should we do this for you? In this case, we need a temporary wp-admin to your site.

Yes – but if I remove pages like “Cart” “Categories” etc – will that remove the mainpages in Woo? My content pages?

Hello, Thomas STHLM,

But why do you want to delete “Cart” page? You do not need to delete default WooCommerce pages (Cart, My account, Checkout in case they are not duplicated).

Your content pages will not be deleted if you delete manually only demo pages.

1 – Remove content manually
2 – Delete the childtheme
3 – Install a new childtheme – that is blank

now I have erased the child theme + delete products + delete categories.

But it’s still demo content left. Like this for example:

You can also delete demo posts and post categories.

Yes, we can, please provide us with temporary wp-admin access.
To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password via the Private Content area.
