How to build a site from scratch with Elementor?

Hi!
I’m a newbie and will start the long road to build a e-com with Elementor and XStore 🙂

I have a design ready in Figma and I need to build it with Elementor.

Q: I have installed a Xstore child-theme that contains products and stuff.
How do I remove that?

But I like to start with a blank theme. If I remove the content – is still the theme formation left? Is it more easy to start from a theme or from a blank page?

Yes, you can remove the content and use the theme still.
Both ways are fine, and you can try both one by one.

Click on Delete content, as was mentioned https://prnt.sc/y9EguUq2yfLa or
you can use the WordPress Database Reset plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-database-reset/). This plugin removes ALL existing content and you will be able to start all from scratch.

Ok, but if I reset the database everything will disappear. This is a staging-site of a fully function e-com store.

Can I just remove the childtheme and install a blank XStore child-theme?

You can, but removing the child theme will not delete demo pages, menus, and so on. In this case, we would recommend you also use https://prnt.sc/y9EguUq2yfLa
