How to add slideshow banners below navigation

How do I add/edit slide show banners with the buttons and arrows like the ones in the demo shown here:

I added one slider and to ensure that it is formatted correctly when viewed in different devices, I edited the formatting in all 4 devices (desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile).

However, when I view my page on my desktop, the slider rotates between desktop AND laptop view. And when I view it on mobile, it rotates between tablet AND mobile. How do I make it so the slider appears only once and in one view?
