    Hi,
    I’m experiencing a major performance issue with my website when the XStore theme is active. As soon as I activate your theme, WordPress becomes noticeably slower and the server CPU usage increases a lot.

    Can you please help me identify what’s causing this high load and how to reduce it?

    Thank you.

    Hello @Lantalau,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing performance issues with your website when using the XStore theme. We understand how important website speed and server performance are, and we’re here to help you resolve this matter.

    Here are some general recommendations:

    memory_limit = 1024M
    post_max_size = 512M
    upload_max_filesize = 1024M
    max_execution_time = 3000
    max_input_time = 3000
    max_input_vars = 10000

    Excessively high values may not necessarily improve performance and could potentially lead to resource management issues on your server. We recommend adjusting the values to more standard limits unless you have a specific need for higher settings.

    If you are unsure about the optimal configuration for your hosting environment, we suggest consulting with your hosting provider or server administrator for tailored advice.

    Also, we recommend the following general steps to help improve performance:

    – Ensure that your theme and all plugins are updated to the latest versions.
    – Use a caching plugin such as WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache.
    – Optimize your images and database.
    – Disable any unnecessary plugins to reduce load.
    – Consider using a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to improve loading times.

    Let us know how it goes!

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    That has nothing to do with it, it’s when you activate the theme that everything slows down, I’ve seen other posts where the same thing happens, but I don’t know how they solved it.

    Dear @Lantalau,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    Could you please contact your hosting provider to investigate the cause of the high CPU usage on your server? Additionally, we kindly ask you to ensure that your SSD storage is not full, as this may also impact performance.

    I repeat the same thing, the problem is your theme.

    On the same hosting, I’ve installed two WordPress sites:

    1st A WordPress with your theme, it’s extremely slow.
    2nd A subdomain dev.domain… with WordPress without your theme, it runs perfectly.

    I’ve seen the other thread I mentioned to you, and it says exactly the same thing, that the problem is your theme.

    I’ve already contacted support, and they say the same, the problem is your theme, they’re sure of it.

    Hello, Lantalau,

    Could you provide some screenshots or analytics of CPU usage?

    After that, please provide us with temporary wp-admin and FTP access. We will check what can be done to help you.

    To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Best Regards,

    I have sent the attached data. I believe that with the bot plugin enabled, the high CPU usage has stopped, the same thing that happened to the other person in the other case.

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    We still didn’t get an answer about our question:

    Could you provide some screenshots or analytics of CPU usage?

    Could you please, provide us details for better understanding for the possible solutions in your case ?
    Kind regards, Jack Richardson
