    Hello Support Team,

I’m experiencing a serious issue with my website layout and user sessions.

I have configured a desktop header, but for logged-out users on desktop, the site is sometimes showing the mobile header/layout instead. This happens even though the visitor is using a desktop browser. As a result, the layout appears broken and customers are having difficulty logging in.

I have attached screenshots showing the difference between the correct desktop layout and the incorrect mobile-style layout appearing on desktop.

I’m not sure whether this is caused by caching, but I am currently using the W3 Total Cache plugin.

I’m also receiving reports from customers that may be related:

Customers are being logged out in the middle of their session.

Customer carts are being emptied unexpectedly.

Could you please investigate whether this is a caching/session issue, a responsive header issue, or something else affecting logged-out users and WooCommerce cart/session behavior?

This is impacting customer login and checkout, so I would appreciate urgent assistance.

    Thank you.

    Hello, Kulimary,

We have noticed that your website is utilizing a large number of plugins. This could potentially impact the website’s performance, lead to errors, and affect its overall speed. To ensure optimal functionality and avoid such issues, we kindly ask you to manually review each plugin currently in use on your website.

If the problem persists, we suggest switching to the Parent theme if you are currently using the Child Theme on your site. After clearing the cache, check again.
Do the same test for the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront. The issue may be due to your custom code in the Child Theme.

    Let us know the results.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

I tried every suggestions, I tried to remove all the plugins leaving only the essential ones like xstore plugin and woocommerce I also deleted everything from funcion.php but the clients still reported issues,

I also discovered mean time that some of xstore widgets does not work correctly for example the xstore brand widget and brand list widged shows only 2 brands where i have total of 4 brands.
I even received a fatal error when i tried to add xstore search product widged so something with the theme is off, i just cant find it myself.

For now every time the site goes back to incorrect header ( as far i noticed this only happens on main page) i edit it in Elementor refresh/Plublish the site and it goes back to normal.

As for loging out mid session and cart disappearing – im still waiting for feedbacks from the customers

Do you have any more suggestion what should i do? I restored every plugin and setting as it was so the site is usable.

    Hello @Kulimary,

Let’s address your requests step by step. The issue with your header appears to be related to the “Mobile Optimization” setting that is currently enabled in your Theme Options (https://gyazo.com/803627e41c541ba4ec18a8ca0169e8d3). This setting may cause conflicts with active caching plugins on your website, which seems to be the case here.

Regarding the issue with login actions, could you please temporarily disable your caching plugin and check again? Some caching plugins may store certain cookies, and it is necessary to properly exclude specific WooCommerce cookies from caching. If this resolves the issue, we recommend contacting your caching plugin’s support team to obtain the correct configuration for logged-in users.

    Hello, Kulimary,

Thank you for the detailed update and for testing the site with only the required plugins enabled.

Based on the described symptoms, the issue appears to be related to caching or optimization, or possibly to mixed desktop and mobile cache for logged-out users. The fact that the problem occurs randomly and sometimes disappears after refreshing the page usually indicates that the site may be serving an incorrect cached version of the header or other assets.

    Please follow the steps below:

    1. Temporarily disable W3 Total Cache completely, not just clear the cache.
After disabling it, clear your browser cache and test the site in an incognito/private window as a logged-out user.

    2. If the issue disappears with W3 Total Cache disabled, please re-enable it and review the following settings:

      - Temporarily disable Page Cache.
       - Disable Minify for CSS and JS.
       - Disable JS combine/defer/delay options.
       - Disable Object Cache.
       - Disable mobile cache or user-agent groups if they are enabled.
       - Ensure that mobile and desktop cache versions are not mixed.

    3. Exclude WooCommerce dynamic pages from caching:

       - Cart
       - Checkout
       - My Account

Also, make sure that URLs containing ?wc-ajax= are not cached.

    4. Exclude WooCommerce session and cart cookies from caching:

       - woocommerce_cart_hash
       - woocommerce_items_in_cart
       - wp_woocommerce_session_
       - wordpress_logged_in_

These cookies are essential for cart functionality, login/logout processes, mini-cart display, and header state.

    5. In Elementor, navigate to:
Elementor → Tools → Regenerate CSS & Data
    Then clear all caches again.

    6. If you are using server-side caching, a CDN, Cloudflare, or hosting-level caching, please clear or temporarily disable it for testing.

Regarding the XStore widgets, such as the brands carousel or brand widget, they may also malfunction if CSS/JS files are minified, combined, deferred, delayed, or loaded from outdated cache. Therefore, please test the site with all optimization options disabled first.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team

Thank you I’m testing the results as soon i will have any feedback I will inform you.

I disabled W3 Total Cache, CSS minification, Ajaxify widgets/menus, Flying Pages, Static Blocks cache, Menu cache, Remove query strings, Disable Elementor dialog JS, and Disable theme Swiper JS. I cleared caches and tested in incognito, but the XStore Brands widget still shows only Richmann and Yato on /shop/, while Products → Brands contains FLO, Yato, Richmann and VOREL, and the VOREL brand archive works. there were a moment where the entire site style collapsed as on image3

By playing with setting in xstore option i noticed there is a built in Hungarian Language support for the theme but in drop down menu that language does not appear, how can i add that language?

Regarding the Hungarian language, we will add it to the list of languages in the next theme update
