Footer will not show when post grid is added to page

Hello I am working with the Legenda theme. The issue is that when the post grid is added to visual composer the footer does not show on the page. The page will only scroll down to the bottom of the post grid. After refreshing the footer may show sometimes which is not going to work.

I have the footer set up as a static block and I’ve added it to the footer widgets area. When I remove the post grid it works fine. Also, the footer shows fine on my remaining pages.

I will list the steps below that I’ve used to try and solve the problem.

Deactivated all plugins

used main theme instead of child theme

removed all custom styling

reinstalled legenda with old and new versions

The only way I’ve been able to resolve the issue is by removing the post grid from the page.
You help regarding this matter is greatly appreciated.

The pages that are malfunctioning are Home and About.
