    Hi 8theme team,

Since X-Store is based on WordPress can we replicate the websites we see online in terms of various elements, sections and features they have and replicate them on X-Store? We definitely think your theme is the best on themeforest.

    On the demo; https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/

Is the top header element made via a 3rd party plugin (revolution slider)?

    1) Can we edit the header element (specifically the slider) to various different designs such as on the websites on the PCA?

    Thanks for your help

    Hi Tony,

Thanks for your reply and information regarding the “TOP HEADER ELEMENTS” / “SLIDERS”

We will look over the documentation and possible see ways and alternative methods (plugins, code, customizations) to build something similar we want to add.

    1) In regards to sliders (based on the 3rd party plugin) – revolution slider

    a) Can we have more than one on a single page? For example the home page having one on the top and one on the bottom?

    b) Can we add them to any type of page we would like? Such as blog posts and products?

    c) Is the plugin (revolution slider) provided by X-Store the full version with all features/updates? Or would we need to get that separately from the company itself.

    2) Is there anyway we can replicate the slider on this website, using the slider available on X-Store (X-Store elements) or would a 3rd party solution such as revolution slider be needed?

    4) Can the sliders on X-Store:

    https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/slides-element/

    a) Have an auto-play type feature in which they change the slides automatically?

    b) Can we arrange the elements (where they appear on the slider)? As of now all sliders are showing the appearance (top to bottom) as:

    Slide 1 sub heading
    Slide 1 heading
    Description
    Read more button

And change the location of where they are placed on the slider?
For example having the button on the bottom left, having the description on the very top right, having the heading on the bottom right etc. Basically placing the elements to your choosing versus the default placements.

(Or would be need a plugin like revolution slider)

    c) Can we change the shape of the button (which says “read more”) on the slider element to something else versus the current square?

    d) How can we change the next slide button/arrow to something similar as on this website?

    e) Instead of having arrows which we click to move the slider to the next slide, can we have and emoji placed there (and not the typical arrow)?

Thanks for your help on this regarding sliders. 🙏🏻

    Hello, @GTP,

    1) Regarding Revolution Slider in X-Store:

    a) Can we have more than one on a single page?

Yes,Revolution Slider allows multiple sliders on a single page, enabling placement in various sections like the top and bottom

    b) Can we add them to any type of page?

You can easily add Revolution Sliders to various pages, such as the homepage, blog posts, and product pages, while editing them with the help of the Elementor page builder. You can use the Slider Revolution widget for this.
For a more detailed visual guide, please refer to the image available at the following link: https://imgur.com/a/TPP9UMb

    c) Is the plugin provided by X-Store the full version?
Yes, the Revolution Slider provided by X-Store is the full version with all features/updates. You can update to the latest version when it becomes available. For the updating the plugins follow this XStore theme document given in the link below:
    https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/38-activation-and-purchase-codes

    2 & 4) Replicating Sliders on X-Store:

Yes, you can utilize the sliders on X-Store, such as the one found at [https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/slides-element/]. To learn how to use them, refer to the XStore theme documentation provided at the following link:
It will guide you through the steps and settings required to replicate the desired slider on your website. Follow the link below:

    b)Customizing Slider Element Arrangement:
Yes, you can definitely arrange the elements on your slider!
Whether you need a plugin like Slider Revolution depends on the specific slider you’re using:

Default Elementor Slider: If you’re using the default Elementor slider included with the XStore theme, you don’t need any additional plugins. You can edit the element positions directly through the XStore theme settings.

    Hi Tony,

Thanks for your reply as always!

    1) a + b – Thanks for confirming and including the screenshot.

    c) That is great! We noticed revolution slider charges per year. We are guessing we don’t have to worry about this and would be getting all updates/features regardless? Meaning that when we purchased a X-Store license, this was “given” to us for free and we can use revolution slider and all its “features” etc.?

    2) Great, we will try to replicate something via revolution slider!

    4)

    a) Thank you, we found out where the button was located on in the X-Store slider element. Content —> Slider Element —> then you see options for autoplay and loop.

    b) Thank you. Overall, we think using the revolution slider would offer more customization styles versus the default slider provided by Elementor which is fine. Elementor has the basic templates which are also very useful and good to have as an option.

    – In regards to the default elementor slider (the standard slider found on X-Store), we cannot find out how to arrange the elements such as heading, the read more button, sub heading etc. They are appearing as is, by default. Can you perhaps share a screenshot in regards to where we can find this feature please?

    c) Thank you Tony for the documentation and screenshot!

    – Can we change the shape of the button if we use the basic Elementor (X-Store) slider as seen on this page;

    https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/slides-element/

Currently all read more buttons are rectangular shaped etc.

    & Can we perhaps remove the default box and use the boxes as shown in this page;

    https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/text-button-element/

    d) We are using some sliders from Elementor (X-Store)

    https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/slides-element/

    – How can we replicate the positions of “NAV CENTER STYLE” & “NAV OUTSIDE STYLE”? (as seen on the link above)

We tried to live copy the elements from the X-Store page but were given the message: Live Paste feature is not allowed right now, because you didn’t copy any section before. You can find nice looking sections here: https://xstore.8theme.com/widgets/

    – Can we have the box perfectly lined up so the left and right side of the box touches the end of the slider?

    e) If we are using the basic Elementor Slider (which is on X-Store) can we have things such as emojis or images to be the next and before arrow button instead of plain arrows? And if not can this be possible on revolution slider?

    5) Just a broad question in terms of the sliders on X-Store and the sliders provided by revolution slider.

Would revolution slider and the sliders on there be overall more customizable because that is the core function and service of that plugin?

    Thanks for your help!

    Hello, @GTP,

    1)You’re welcome!

c)X-Store offers fantastic benefits, incorporating various third-party plugins like Revolution Slider to elevate your website’s capabilities. Upon purchasing the X-Store license, these plugins were included at no extra cost. Rest assured, you’ll receive all Revolution Slider updates and features without additional charges.

    2)Fantastic! Enjoy exploring Slider Revolution.

    4)
a)Great to hear that you found the button location in the X-Store slider element!

b)After inserting the Elementor default slider on the desired page, head to the left side in the content section.

0)Choose ‘Slide 1’ or the specific slide you wish to customize.
0)In the settings, navigate to the ‘Content’ tab.
0)Within this tab, you have the flexibility to modify headings, subheadings, and other elements according to your preferences.
0)Don’t forget to explore the ‘Background’ and ‘General’ tabs for additional customization options. These steps should empower you to tailor the Elementor slider in X-Store to meet your specific design requirements.

    c)
    – Unfortunately, achieving the exact positioning like ‘NAV CENTER STYLE’ and ‘NAV OUTSIDE STYLE’ directly within the default slide settings might be limited.
For a more detailed visual guide, please refer to the image available at the following link:https://imgur.com/a/TQgvrxV

    – One workaround is to add separate text widgets for each element and align them accordingly.
Insert the Elementor default slider onto your page, then select the desired slide for modifications. In the ‘Button’ section of the settings, customize the title, link, and style. Modify the button shape if there’s a direct option.
For a unique button style, like separate boxes, explore Elementor’s widgets or alternative methods. Experiment with various widget options to achieve the desired button appearance. If you face challenges or have questions, feel free to reach out for assistance.
For a more detailed visual guide, please refer to the image available at the following link:https://imgur.com/a/PkqpqKV

    – We are pleased to inform you that we have successfully tested the live copy-paste feature on our test site using the Microsoft Edge browser. The feature is functioning as expected without any issues.
For your convenience, we have recorded a video demonstrating the process. We kindly request you to watch the video in its entirety for your reference.
    https://www.veed.io/view/a06087ea-e901-4b6d-93bb-7b7fbee7dc36?sharingWidget=true&panel=share
We recommend using the Microsoft Edge browser to access this feature and kindly request you to check again.

e)If you’re using the basic Elementor Slider in X-Store, the customization options for the next and previous arrow buttons are somewhat limited within the default slider settings. However, if you want to use emojis or custom images as arrow buttons, it’s more feasible with Slider Revolution rather than the default Elementor Slider.

D)Please, Navigate to Slider Revolution, locate the slide you want to modify, and edit it to access settings. In the ‘Arrows’ section, choose the ‘Metis’ arrow type or another that suits your style. Save changes to the desired alignment seamlessly in Slider Revolution.
For a more detailed visual guide, please refer to the image available at the following link: https://imgur.com/a/yMm0o70

5)Thank you for your inquiry. The top section of the website you mentioned appears to be using a slider to display its features. However, it’s important to note that our support primarily covers the theme’s functions and functionality.

Revolution Slider excels in creating highly customizable sliders with advanced features, including intricate designs, transitions, and dynamic content. Compared to X-Store’s basic sliders, Revolution Slider offers a more comprehensive toolkit. It’s recommended for users seeking advanced customization, with support primarily covering XStore theme functions. For detailed guidance on Revolution Slider capabilities, consult its documentation or support.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team.

    Hello Tony,

    Appreciate your reply once again.

1 c) That is great to know and we appreciate this!

4 b) Thanks for the details on this.

I think we might have confused you on this, we have found the ways to EDIT the content on the sliders via Elementor but trying to find/ask if there is a way to ARRANGE the content of the slider (slide 1 subheading – slide 1 heading – description – read more button)

So for example the current way the content on the default sliders shows up is as:

    Slide 1 subheading
    Slide 1 heading
    Description
    Read more button

This is the way all content on the sliders show up, when we import a slider from the Elementor dashboard.

We are trying to find out if its possible to rearrange the content on the sliders so we can for example:

    – Have the read more button right at the top // be the first block (versus the bottom)
    – Have the description under that // be the second block (versus showing up in the 3rd row)
    – Have the slide heading under that // be the third block (versus showing up in the 1st row)
    – Have the slide heading under at the last position // be the last block (versus showing up in the 2nd row).

    4 c)

—*** In regards to the NAV CENTER STYLE & NAV OUTSIDE STYLE, we were looking to replicate the example on the elements page via live copy.

Will we get the exact same looking box/slider if we do it via live copy? (we will try on a different browser as the current one does not work)

—*** In regards to CHANGING THE SHAPE OF THE BUTTON, thank you for the screenshot! I am guessing that would be the only way we can do that – By changing the border radius/color?

    —*** In regards to CHANGING THE WHOLE BUTTON, and using the buttons on the elements page;

    https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/minimal-fashion02/text-button-element/

ON THE ACTUAL SLIDER (Elementor one)

    Is that possible?

—*** In regards to the LIVE COPY ISSUES, thanks we will try a different browser.

—*** In regards to this screenshot; https://imgur.com/a/PkqpqKV

Can we please know on how you got the arrows to be placed perfectly on the edges of the slider? We are trying to replicate that but cannot find out how. I think this is called METIS? We are trying to replicate this on ELEMENTOR.

4 e) Understood, thanks for confirming!

    5) Perfect, we will use slider revolution for the more customized sliders we need.

    Thanks! 🙂

    Hi Rose,

4 b) Thanks for confirming and thank you as well for the screenshot. We were looking for something similar in terms of

    https://prnt.sc/gBsHiggaYoAo

This looks much better versus the basic Elementor sliders.
Can you please let us know if you made this simply by adding elements and adding them onto a carousel anything template?
And there is also saved templates for these?

4 c) Sure no problem, we will ask them one by one on this thread to avoid creating other topics.

    Hi Rose,

    Thanks for confirming that.

Just to confirm that if we use the basic elementor slider, we cannot edit it in terms of placement of the elements etc. and that the editing capabilities is less versus using the carousel anything slider or a plugin like revolution slider?

    1) Is there anyway to align the button of before/next slide as seen on this screenshot shared by Tony earlier?

    https://imgur.com/a/PkqpqKV

They are perfectly aligned with the sliders.

    2) Is there anyway to make the sliders OR the element “CAROUSEL ANYTHING” move in a similar animation type as seen on the marquee elements? I think this would be called a “TICKER”

By moving them slowly (this would make the viewer see more than one slide at once, there would be 2 slides on the screen all the time) Maybe called OVERLAY CONTENT?

    Thanks!

    Dear GTP,

    Yes, we confirm this.

    1. Regarding the arrows you referenced, are you referring to the ones depicted in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/tCs5J4mYq3U-? We have reviewed the matter, and we invite you to verify the current status at the following link: https://prnt.sc/H1b_stvzHpjf.

    2. We would like to inform you that the feature you inquired about is not available. The only option we offer in this context is the “Slides per view,” as shown in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/w6_PVksjRoNJ.

We appreciate your understanding and are here to assist with any further questions you may have.

    Hope you are doing well;

    1) Thank you for the code, we were looking for this and had tried everything. We will save the code for this, looks perfect.

    2) No problem, we will try to find some alternatives for this. Just wondering if you may have some CSS code to move the slider in the form of the marquee element? (the marquee element moves slowly)

    3) PCA content
