    Hi Support Team,

We are experiencing an issue with Elementor on our website, https://everbrightwellness.com/.

    Issue:
    – Elementor works normally on Pages, but gets stuck on Loading when editing any Blog Post.
    – The issue persists in Safe Mode.
    – Elementor System Info returns a 500 Internal Server Error.
    – The server is currently running PHP 8.5.10.

Could you please help investigate whether this issue is related to the XStore theme, Elementor compatibility, or the current PHP version?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hello @M Project,

We kindly request that you temporarily downgrade the PHP version on your website to at least 8.4 or 8.3 to ensure optimal compatibility with all installed plugins and modules. This will allow us to investigate the issue further if it persists during the loading of Elementor, as the latest PHP version you are using might be the source of these issues. Additionally, we attempted to access the Server logs in Elementor, but the page is not available for us to view (https://prnt.sc/QspNdqfomJt9).

    Best Regards,

    Hi Support Team,
We have downgraded the PHP version from 8.5 to 8.3 as recommended, but unfortunately the issue still persists.
The Elementor editor for Blog Posts is still stuck on the Loading screen and cannot be opened/edited.
The other pages and the website frontend are working normally. The issue mainly affects Blog Posts when trying to edit them with Elementor.
Could you please help us investigate further and advise what could be causing this issue? If possible, please also check the server error logs, especially for any PHP errors, 500 errors, or admin-ajax.php / elementor_ajax errors when Elementor is loading the Blog Post.
    Thank you.

    Hello @M Project,

We have reviewed your Posts Archive Builder template, and it appears to be loading without any issues. You can view it here: https://gyazo.com/f82b7fa0185597d1b509b9876913bd58. Could you kindly verify this on your end by navigating to Dashboard -> XStore Builders -> Posts Archive Builder?

    Hi Support Team,
Thank you for checking. However, I believe there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the issue.

The issue is not with the Posts Archive Builder template.

The issue occurs when we try to edit an individual Blog Post using “Edit with Elementor” from the WordPress Dashboard.
    For example, this individual post:
    https://everbrightwellness.com/behind-the-craft-meet-our-artisans/

    The steps are:
Dashboard → Posts → select an individual Blog Post → Edit with Elementor

After clicking Edit with Elementor, the Elementor Editor gets stuck on the Loading screen and does not load.

The frontend of the individual post is displaying normally, and the Posts Archive Builder is also not the issue.
Could you please test the individual Blog Post editing with Elementor instead of the Posts Archive Builder?
    Thank you.

    Hello @M Project,

We have checked the console error on your Single post Elementor editor:

“Uncaught SecurityError: Failed to read a named property ‘elementorFrontend’ from ‘Window’: Blocked a frame with origin … from accessing a cross-origin frame.” (https://gyazo.com/ae7fdec733e4f481c1d67cb462cb015e)

This error is related to the Elementor editor and browser cross-origin/frame security restrictions. It usually appears when the Elementor editor and its preview iframe are treated as different origins or when additional security headers are applied by the server, CDN, Cloudflare, or a security plugin.

    Please check the following:

    1. We checked the WordPress Address and Site Address under Settings → General use exactly the same protocol and domain, for example:
    https://everbrightwellness.com

There should be no mix between HTTP/HTTPS or www/non-www versions and it is correct version configured on your web-site.

    2. Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to check whether any of the following headers are being added to the Elementor editor or preview pages:

    – Cross-Origin-Opener-Policy
    – Cross-Origin-Embedder-Policy
    – Document-Isolation-Policy
    – Content-Security-Policy
    – X-Frame-Options

They should also check ModSecurity/firewall rules that may affect iframe access.

    3. As Cloudflare or another CDN/security service is used (we checked using the browser tool → https://gyazo.com/b9284fb9a01db88e92b81a4d19057371), please temporarily disable its security/header modification rules and test the Elementor editor again.

    4. Please also temporarily disable security/optimization plugins that may modify HTTP headers or iframe behavior.

    5. As we see you have not the latest version of Elemento so we kindly ask you to update it on your web-site (we didn’t make such action as it is a live web-site so we only suggest the solution).

Note: we also checked the Elementor logs page but it is not available for us to preview → https://everbrightwellness.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=elementor-system-info.

This issue is not caused by the XStore theme itself. The browser is blocking Elementor from accessing its own preview iframe because of cross-origin/security restrictions.

We recommend asking your hosting provider to compare the response headers of the Elementor editor page and the Elementor preview iframe and remove or adjust any conflicting cross-origin security headers.

    Kind regards, Jack Richardson
    The 8theme’s team
