    Dear 8Theme Team,

    Thank you for your response.

I will coordinate with the server team regarding the caching and permalink structure as per your suggestion. However, the website speed remains my primary concern, and currently, the site is loading far too slowly — not at all comparable to the performance shown in your official XStore theme demos.

I request you to please take a closer look and assist in optimizing the theme’s performance. A fast and smooth experience is critical for our users, and this needs to be addressed as a top priority.

In addition to the speed issue, I also request you to thoroughly review and ensure that all theme functionalities are working as expected. Please check the following areas in detail:

Product Listing Pages – Ensure proper product loading, layout, and order.

Product Filters – Test all filters (category, attributes, price range, etc.) for accurate results.

Product Detail Pages – Confirm that content, images, and related products are displaying correctly.

Product Variations – Ensure smooth variation switching with correct price and availability updates.

Out of Stock Functionality – Verify that unavailable items are clearly marked and cannot be added to the cart.

Add to Cart Functionality – Test this across variations to confirm responsive and error-free behavior.

Please help make sure the website is fully functional and performs at the standard your theme promises.

Looking forward to your urgent support on this.

    Best regards,
    Siddharth

    Dear Siddharth,

Hello, and thank you for your detailed follow-up.

We truly appreciate the time you’ve taken to outline your concerns, and we understand how important website speed and functionality are for delivering a seamless user experience.

As mentioned in our previous message, the performance issues currently affecting your website are primarily related to server-side configurations. We strongly recommend that you first coordinate with your hosting provider to address these aspects, including caching and permalink structure. These foundational optimizations are essential and will significantly influence the overall speed and responsiveness of your site.

Once the server-side issues are resolved, enabling a caching plugin will further enhance performance. Please implement these optimizations step by step, as this structured approach will help isolate and resolve any remaining bottlenecks more effectively.

Regarding your request for a thorough review of theme functionalities, we want to assure you that we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance. Our development team continuously works on optimizing the codebase, and each update includes improvements specifically aimed at enhancing speed and functionality.

We will now proceed to carefully review the following areas you highlighted in our updates.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work through these checks. Please rest assured that we are treating this matter with priority and will keep you updated on our progress.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

Thank you for your response and the suggested server-side optimizations.

I would like to clarify that we have already verified all server-side configurations thoroughly. The PHP version, memory limits, and other key parameters such as mod_rewrite and caching mechanisms are all properly configured and functioning without issue.

However, the “Edit with Elementor” feature is still not working. The editor gets stuck on the loading screen, even after:

    Enabling Safe Mode

Clearing all caches (browser, WordPress, and server-side)

    Deactivating all third-party plugins

Switching to a default theme for testing

At this point, the issue appears to be unrelated to server configuration.

We kindly request one of the following:

Your team investigates and resolves this issue directly, or

Please guide us step by step in detail to identify and fix the root cause on our end.

This is a critical functionality for us, and we need to resolve it as soon as possible.

Looking forward to your prompt support.

    Hi Siddharth,

    Thank you for your message.

As we have already mentioned in our previous replies, and as you have also confirmed during your testing, the issue with the Elementor editor not loading persists even when using a default WordPress theme and with all third-party plugins deactivated. This clearly indicates that the problem is not related to our XStore theme or the Core plugin.

Since the issue occurs independently of our theme and plugin, it points to a server-side configuration or a conflict with other server-level components. Unfortunately, such issues fall outside the scope of Envato item support, which covers only theme-related functionality and does not include server troubleshooting or third-party plugin conflicts.

We kindly recommend that you consult with your hosting provider or server administrator to further investigate the issue. Once the underlying server-related problem is resolved, Elementor should function correctly, and you will be able to use it with our theme without any issues.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

    Hello,

Thank you for your detailed follow-up and for confirming that all necessary server-side configurations have been thoroughly checked. We also appreciate the steps you’ve already taken, including enabling Safe Mode, clearing all caches, deactivating third-party plugins, and testing with a default theme.

Since the issue persists even after switching to the default theme and performing all standard troubleshooting steps, it appears that the problem may not be theme-related. As such, it may fall outside the scope of our support, which is limited to issues directly related to our theme, as per Envato’s support policy.

That said, we still want to assist you as much as possible. Please try the following additional steps:

    – Ensure that Elementor and WordPress are both updated to their latest versions.
    – Check for any browser console errors while the Elementor editor is loading. These errors can provide valuable insight into what might be causing the issue.
    – Increase the PHP max execution time and memory limit temporarily to see if that resolves the loading issue.
    – Review the server error logs for any entries that appear when attempting to load Elementor.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, we recommend reaching out to the Elementor support team directly, as they will have more in-depth tools and resources to assist with issues specific to the Elementor plugin.

We understand how important this functionality is for your workflow, and we’re here to help with any theme-related concerns you may have.

    Hello 8Theme Team,

Thank you for your detailed response and continued support.

As you’ve mentioned that the issue may not be theme-related and could lie elsewhere, I would really appreciate it if your team could help investigate further — especially since I’ve already shared both FTP and WP Admin access with you. Could you please use those credentials to help identify the specific reason(s) why the Elementor editor is not loading and the website performance is slow?

Pinpointing the root cause will help me escalate the issue to the appropriate team (such as Elementor support or my hosting provider) with clear findings.

Looking forward to your help in narrowing this down.

    Dear Siddharth,

Thank you for your message and for providing access credentials to assist with the investigation.

We understand your concern and appreciate your efforts in troubleshooting the issue. As mentioned in our previous messages, we have already tested the site using the default WordPress theme (such as Twenty Twenty-Three), and the issue with the Elementor editor not loading still persists. This indicates that the problem is not related to our theme.

We want to assure you that we are not trying to mislead you in any way. Our goal is to help you identify the root cause of the issue so it can be resolved effectively. We kindly recommend that you try switching to the default theme on your end once again and check if the issue continues. This will help confirm our findings and provide a clearer direction for further troubleshooting.

If the problem remains even with the default theme, we suggest reaching out to Elementor support or your hosting provider, as the issue may be related to plugin conflicts, server configuration, or resource limitations.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance or if there’s anything else we can do to help.

    Dear 8Theme Team,

We’d like to clarify that we are already using optimum server settings and have gone through a massive server upgrade specifically to handle the requirements of this website — which, by the way, contains only a handful of pages.

You mentioned server-side configuration issues and caching — however, we’d like to know specifically what settings or configurations you’re referring to. From our end, caching is already fully implemented, and we are also using WP Rocket, which is one of the most effective caching and performance optimization plugins available.

Given that the server is powerful and caching is active, we would appreciate more detailed feedback regarding what exact configurations or theme-level issues you believe could be optimized further.

Looking forward to your insights so we can work together to enhance the site’s performance even further.

    Best regards,

    Dear 8Theme Team,

We’d like to clarify that our website is hosted on a high-end server environment, which was specifically upgraded to handle this project’s requirements — despite the website consisting of only a limited number of pages.

You mentioned concerns related to server-side configuration and caching. Could you kindly clarify which specific configurations or settings you believe might be misconfigured or missing?

From our side, WP Rocket is already being used for front-end optimization, and overall performance tuning has been implemented. Additionally, a core SintexAsot service runs continuously in the background, which we are monitoring closely.

However, we’ve noticed consistent high resource usage, and we suspect there may be some unexpected or hidden process running in the background — potentially theme-related — that is putting extra load on the server.

If you could help us identify any such processes or provide guidance on what to look for, it would be greatly appreciated. We’re keen to resolve any issues collaboratively and ensure everything is functioning optimally.

    Looking forward to your insights.

    Best regards,

    Dear Siddharth,

Thank you for your detailed message and for providing insights into your server environment and optimization efforts.

We have recently made further improvements to the theme archives, which may help address some of the performance concerns you’ve mentioned. We kindly ask you to re-upload the updated theme files to your website. However, before proceeding with the update, we strongly recommend creating a full backup of your website to ensure all your data and customizations are safely preserved.

Regarding the high resource usage you’ve observed, we appreciate your proactive monitoring and the information shared. While we continue to investigate potential causes, updating to the latest version may help mitigate some of the issues. If the problem persists after the update, please let us know — we’ll be happy to assist you further in identifying any theme-related processes that could be contributing to the load.

We value your collaboration and are committed to helping you achieve optimal performance.

    Dear 8Theme Team,

Thank you for your prompt response and for releasing the updated theme files. I have successfully uploaded and activated the latest version as advised, following a full backup of the site.

However, I am still experiencing slow backend performance and high server resource usage. This includes slow loading times within the WordPress admin panel and delayed response during basic operations like editing pages, saving settings, or navigating between admin sections.

Based on my server logs and performance monitoring, I suspect that a background process or a service (possibly from the theme or a plugin) is continuously running or querying the database excessively. I’d appreciate your assistance in identifying any such services or functions that may be causing this issue.

Would you be able to guide me on how to:

Trace background AJAX requests, cron jobs, or admin-ajax.php calls that the theme or bundled plugins might be using?

Disable or optimize any heavy features (such as pre-built demos, analytics, or importers) that might not be necessary in production?

Profile theme-related hooks or filters that could be contributing to CPU load or slow queries?

I’m happy to provide access details or performance logs if needed. Your help in identifying and resolving the root cause of this performance bottleneck would be greatly appreciated.

    Looking forward to your guidance.

    Best regards,

    Dear Siddharth

Thank you for your detailed message and for updating to the latest version of XStore. We truly appreciate your thorough feedback and your effort in analyzing performance on your end.

We’d like to clarify a few important points regarding the theme’s structure and optimization:

XStore is one of the most feature-rich and highly customizable themes on the market — and as you correctly noted, such flexibility naturally requires more resources compared to minimalist themes. With each update, we implement performance optimizations and fixes to improve both frontend and backend speed, and the recent update is no exception.

That said, we’ve already implemented all feasible optimizations at this stage. Further improvements might result in a 10–20% gain, but it’s unlikely to produce a 2–3x speed boost as you may have hoped — unless we significantly reduce theme features, which would go against its core strength: deep customization.

    Regarding your specific questions:
AJAX / Cron monitoring: You can use tools such as Query Monitor or Debug Bar plugins to trace active admin-ajax.php requests or background tasks. If needed, we can assist in guiding you through this process.
Disabling heavy features: XStore does not load pre-built demos or importers on the live frontend or admin unless triggered manually.
Profiling theme hooks: We recommend using tools like the Query Monitor plugin to check slow hooks or long-running SQL queries. Additionally, you can use WP Crontrol to view or manage background cron jobs.
If you’d like, feel free to share temporary admin access or performance logs — we’d be glad to analyze them and offer tailored suggestions.

Thank you again for your commitment to optimizing your site. We’ll do our best to support you every step of the way.

    Kind regards,

Thank you for your prompt and detailed response. I appreciate the clarity regarding XStore’s structure and the balance between performance and flexibility.

However, I am still facing the following critical issues that need your immediate attention:

    High CPU Usage
I’ve attached a screenshot showing consistently high CPU usage on my server specifically for the site https://sintex.asot.in. This is impacting overall performance. Please review and advise if any theme-related processes, scripts, or Ajax calls can be optimized further from your end.

    Elementor Editor Not Loading
The page below fails to load in the Elementor editor:
    https://sintex.asot.in/wp-admin/post.php?post=6386&action=elementor
This prevents us from making critical content updates. Please help investigate the issue and fix whatever is blocking Elementor from loading on that page.

Request for Speed Optimization from Your End
While I understand that extreme gains may not be feasible without removing features, I kindly request your team to do any additional optimizations possible from your side — including script handling, backend process reviews, or Elementor-related tweaks — to improve performance and reduce server load.

Please review the attached CPU usage screenshot and take the necessary actions from your end. I am also open to sharing admin access if required for a deeper analysis.

Looking forward to your support and resolution.

    Dear @8Theme Team,

Thank you for your prompt response and for checking the Elementor functionality.

Please find attached two error log files that we’ve gathered from our server. These logs may help identify the root cause of the high CPU and memory usage we are experiencing. Based on our preliminary review, we suspect the issue may be related to custom theme filters or additional code snippets added in the child theme or functions.php, which could be contributing to the excessive resource consumption.

Regarding the “Resource Usage” section, this may not be visible in your current cPanel access level. If required, we can share specific screenshots or metrics from our end.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could review the attached logs and assist us in identifying any potential theme-related bottlenecks or unnecessary hooks/filters that may be impacting performance.

Looking forward to your expert input.

    Dear Siddharth,

Thank you for reaching out and for your continued patience.

We would like to inform you that the client in question has already received a CPU optimization, which means the previously identified issue has been addressed on our end. However, if you are still experiencing high CPU usage and performance issues, we recommend conducting further testing to help isolate the cause.

As a next step, we suggest the following:

    – Please activate the default Storefront theme and test your website’s performance using it.
    – Try editing your pages with Elementor while the Storefront theme is active to see if the CPU usage remains high.
    – This will help determine whether the issue is related to the theme or possibly to Elementor itself, as we currently do not see a direct correlation between the theme and the CPU load.

We have already resolved most of the issues that were previously identified, as noted in the following thread:
    https://www.8theme.com/topic/database-error-is-showing-in-my-account-pl-help/#post-446638

Additionally, we have attached a screenshot and a new archive of the XStore theme in the Private Content area for your reference. Please update your theme with the latest version and continue testing as suggested.

    We also recommend testing with:

    – The new version of the XStore theme
    – The default Storefront theme + Elementor
    – Elementor editing without any theme (if possible)

This will help determine whether Elementor itself is consuming excessive server resources.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your feedback after these tests.

    Best regards,
