Could we have an ETA on Legenda theme update please?

    Hi

    Could we have an ETA on Legenda theme update please? – Yes, an actual date.

    WooCommerce 3.0 (now 3.03) was released on 4th April. Every where I look for an update it states it would be done within the week.

    WooCommerce 3.0 is a major update, it was released on 04, April. Please DON’T upgrade WC on your site at this moment. A new theme update will be released within this week. If you have already updated WC plugin, please downgrade to the previous version. You can download the previous version here

    I am one of those unfortunate developers that had a client update WC along with the database changes.
    Once I became aware I realised I could not roll back the database without loosing details of many new customers/orders.

    Since then I am unable to add any new products as most of the info doesn’t match, i.e. cannot add to the required categories, featured/new product sliders no longer editable etc.

    I informed the client exactly what you have quoted – update within the week, that was 14 days ago now.

    Please put me out of my misery!

    Same here, I need to get this resolved for my client as well.

    What’ the ETA?

    Hi

    Apologies for the delay? Its been 2 weeks – what are they doing building a new theme?

    This is not what I paid for in extended support.

    Totally unimpressed.

    Should I be looking for a replacement theme? Would it be quicker?

    I’m with Voddie, this needs to get fixed this week. My client is pushing me for alternatives if your support can’t come through. I don’t know what other issues you have but on my end, the only problem I see is that the Featured Products aren’t working. How can it possibly takes weeks to recode this one section?

    We are really sorry you have to wait so long for the theme update. We notified our clients on themeforest site not to upgrade woocommerce to 3.0.x version due to possible compatibility issues and provided the link to previous plugin version 2.6.14 if it has been already updated to be able to revert back https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/woocommerce.2.6.14.zip . Our developers are planning to release new theme update in this week, as they should finish all tests before uploading it to themeforest.

    Thanks for coming back on this thread.

    When you say ‘Our developers are planning to release new theme update in this week, as they should finish all tests before uploading it to themeforest.’ What do you actually mean by ‘this week’ is it the same ‘this week’ as when WC 3 came out, 20 days ago and you posted ‘this week’ on themeforest?

    I paid extra to get support for my client in case we ran into issues. The issues was the theme needed updating to match WC 3. 20 days later I’m still waiting. That is not what I expect of support.

    20 days and I could have my guys build a new theme from scratch.

    Still totally unimpressed

    Hello,

    We are really sorry for inconveniences caused by theme update delay, as it’s due to large amount of work. Our developer team are testing new theme version now and then will forward it to ThemeForest for approvement, so we hope it’ll be ready today for download.

    Seems you are the man apologising – again

    Let’s see if this happens today – after all its only been 24 days since WC3 came out.

    I’m sorry if you have a large amount of work – so do we! I paid for the theme because we have a lot of work on too.

    I’ve paid for extended support and received none – do I qualify for a refund?

    6.5k sales and all those extended support payments and you cant update the theme within 3.5 weeks? – maybe its about time you spent the 300K+ on some proper developers – cos if they were mine they would be dropped

    Completely unimpressed

    Can anyone recommend good woocommerce theme developers?

    I’ve sent the new theme version to your registration emails.
    So, you’ll be able to update theme to version that is compatible with WC 3.0.4.
    You need to enter your purchase code to activate our new theme version and skip Setup Wizard.
    Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
    I would recommend you before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/royal/ to avoid problems with old files.
    Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/.

    I have been sent the link to the updated theme.

    Questions

    1. You state this is compatible with WC3.04 – since its almost a month that WC3.0 came out – is it compatible with WC3.05?

    2. If the updated theme has passed all testing – why hasn’t it been offered thro Themeforest? They still have version 3.1 – have Themeforest thoroughly tested and happy with it? i.e. sent out update emails?

    Answers pls before I even think of updating

    1. Our latest theme version works fine with WC 3.0.4. But we haven’t tested compatibility with WC 3.0.5.
    2. 3.2 theme version will be available soon on Themeforest, we are waiting for approvement from Envato.
