    Hi,

I configured Xstore cookies notice in the theme customization, but the cookies notice always shows up even if I clicked the button. How can I solve this problem?

    Hello, Sean,

We are checking your site right now and do not see the mentioned problem.

The only situation where you may face such behavior is when an incognito browser window is used, but there is no solution for it, because of the specific work of an incognito browser window https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/9845881?hl=en#zippy=%2Chow-incognito-mode-protects-your-privacy “Browsing in Incognito mode means your activity data isn’t saved on your device, or to a Google Account you’re not signed into.”

    Hi Rose,

I’m not using an incognito browser, you can try to click on other pages on my website to see whether this situation appears.

I have clicked the accept button, but every time I switch to a product category page or a product detail page. The notice keeps showing up.

    Hello, Sean,

    Thank you for the answer.

We have browsed your website and visited various pages, and we have noticed that the cookie notice is not repeating.

Would you be able to provide us with a video demonstrating how it works for you?
    What browser are you using?

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

    Hello, Sean,

    Thank you for the video.

Do you use a cache plugin? Please try to disable it and check how it works then.

In order to prevent the notice popup from being cached, please add the following cookies to your cache plugin settings > Reject Cookies:
    etheme_cookies

    For example – https://www.8theme.com/topic/wishlist-removed-items-reappear-after-page-reload-only-when-not-logged-in/#post-345307

We hope this information is helpful.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Rose,

I’ve deactivated the cache plugin – Breeze, and the notice still appears. And I also didn’t find the settings > Reject Cookies in Breeze.

    Hello, Sean,

In order to troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing, we suggest that you first try disabling all third-party plugins that are not bundled with XStore. You can refer to the following link for a list of included plugins: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/36-included-plugins . It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the problem.

Let us know the result of this test.

If this doesn’t help, provide FTP access. To create FTP access, please contact your hosting provider for assistance.

    Best regards,
    8theme team

    Hello, Sean,

We tried to recreate the issue on our local websites but had no success. We tried another test solution for you:
1/ Installed and activated Cookie notice plugin -> https://prnt.sc/TM51AmGjFtvs
2/ Disabled our built-in cookie notices and check.
But after that, we found that nothing changed and our built-in notice was still shown there (even if it is disabled in options).
Do you have any server cache maybe? If so, maybe there are any settings to “not cache cookies” and your hosting needs to write our cookie values there.

    Best regards,
    8theme team
