Hi,

I see, that you have already got more requests about the issue with WP Engine’s admin area and I see, that you have promised to fix it “in your next update”, but this was promised in 2014 and still not fixed.

I see “solutions” for this, but is it really that hard to fix something so simple in your theme? Do you fix it anytime?

Hi,

it really doesn’t necessary to take a look at the admin, as the links, I have provided shows, that the issue is there and it is a known issue for years.

I give you admin access and you can see, that your css is conflicting with the WP Engine pages.

The “solution”, that you were suggesting in those topics are ridiculous, to modify the code, what will be overwritten on every update.

The real solution would be, if you load your admin css only on your pages and not mess with the entire WP admin area. This is the best practice in WP development.

Hello,

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please edit the file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/css/admin.css and delete the code
.wp-core-ui .modal{ top:4% !important;}.
I’ve sent your report to our developers. It will be fixed in our new theme update.

As I have already written, I know the “solution”, that you are suggesting, but this is not a solution. I hope, you will take my suggestion and not only fix this line of css, but you will load your own css only for those pages, that needs this css file.

I’m looking forward to see the fix soon, as you already promised to fix it 3 years ago…
