Compulsory Login for users to purchase certain product categories

Hello Support,

I have several categories of products, and for some specific products I would like visitors to login / register an account in order to purchase.

Ideally the “add to cart” button shall turn into “log in to purchase” when user is not logged in. And when they logged in, they will be able to add those specific products into their cart.

Anyway to do so? or need external plugins if so any plugin will be compatible with your theme? Thank you!

Thank you for your reply.

May I know if the solution you suggested (Catalog mode) can only apply to specific product categories? Not logged in users can purchase and see the “Add to Cart” button in products that belong to Product Cat. A / B / C, but cannot purchase and see the “Add to Cart” button in products that belong to Product D, and Not logged in users will be required to log in in order to purchase the products in Product Cat. D.

Hello Kris,

Thank you for your response.

Our Catalog mode works for all products on the site, it can’t be applied for particular categories only.
It seems is not suit your needs, unfortunately.
Please contact support of the WooCommerce plugin, as was mentioned.
